No Stars for Jessica or staff hanging up on clients. Selling orchids with dead heads in the front. You should tell your customers when they see that it is dead. Would recommend going to Foliage Garden or Holiday. Better bet. To whoever the owner is, Jessica isn't great at customer service. Have someone else pick up your phones.

They have an extensive orchid selection. I bought a few and they have kept their bloom for weeks! Lucio made an incredible arrangement for me and every time I go I’m always impressed. They have a section for rare plants and always have the newest ones on the market. The staff in the front is always so helpful guiding me with my purchases.

Foliage Gaden has been a staple of the New York flower market 40 plus years and it's clear why as soon as you walk in. The selection is unsurpassed and the staff are very knowledgeable and slightly insane. It's truly the closest place to shop. And yes, they pot up your plants for you and they deliver. Best spot on the block!

Loved shopping here! Definitely one of my favorite plant shops in the city and on the block! I’ve bought mostly aroids from here but the orchids are gorgeous. It also always smells like a rain forest when I walk in. I received excellent customer service! They have 2 black cats and sometimes doggies! It’s amazing there!

I have been buying plants from this shop for ten years. The staff are super knowledgeable about every plant in the joint and often have a host of tips.

When I was staging apartments or listing something for sale a fiddle leaf fig was always my go to. The trees were always in great shape and bug free.

On occasion I would need an orchid as a present and there was always one guy in the back who would put together the most beautiful display.

There are many shops on 28th st. That sell plants but none that I trust more than Josh, Monique and team.

Even the delivery guys have a gentle touch!

This place is plant heaven! The store is stocked full of the best looking plants and they make these custom arrangements, WOW. The staff knows their stuff and is honest with you about what plants work for your home, that was very refreshing.

Not to mention they have a store dog with them!

The shop has an incredibly knowledgeable staff. The shop is always well stocked. The plants are always healthy and fairly priced. I would highly recommend this shop for any plant lover.

I tried entering this plant place one time with my wife and there was a south American man standing at the door way on his phone and wouldn’t move so we can enter regardless how many times we said excuse me then we asked a young lady standing not so far from him why can’t we go in and she shrugged her shoulders at us so we just kept it going and a good thing we did, we found a Japanese maple tree fully red for just 60.00 they have the same one in China town for 200.00 only because they have it in a bonsai pot. This one is in a one gallon pot. It almost seems like this shop picks the customers they wish to serve isn’t that bias?

Great selection, but quite unfriendly/unhelpful service. I wouldn't mind paying the high price if people were helpful. I'll just got to home depot or order plants online instead.

I second the last comment about the customer service. I had to tiptoe around one of their people because she really seemed to dislike answering any of my questions. On the other hand, the other lady serving some other customer seemed to be nice. They also do have a great selection and some good orchids, though. That’s why 3 stars.

Terrible customer service. One of the woman basically dismissed me while I was asking about the Orchids. I'm not sure what her problem was, but I was able to FAR BETTER service at another shop on the street. AVOID!

Stumbled upon this place on my lunchbreak and I was incredibly impressed by the selection and size of their plants! They have everything from Calatheas, Pothos, Palms, Aglaoenema's and MORE! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly (thanks for the candy!). Will certainly be back!

Stunning houseplants. Lots of rare stuff for fair prices. On my walk of the garden district today this was the most stand-out place in the area for sure! Definitely recommend to all of my houseplant lovers out there.
