Foodtown of Linden St., Yonkers NY

Overpriced. Only thing good is the lady that cooks the food there. Ever want GOOD, AUTHENTIC spanish food go there! If you want to do actual food shopping, go to Shoprite. The prices here are laughable.

The best thing here is the service. Everybody is very friendly and welcoming. Their selection of goods is kind of weak and their prices on normal goods are absolutely outrageous compared to larger chains like ShopRite, etc.

It's a hideout place for drinks, food and making friends. Very serene little joint. Excellent food and great customer service!

I go here whenever I need something quick. However, this one cashier that works there is very rude and although most of the food items that I pick up are good the service is not so great. I mean if you do not like your job maybe quit and go find something else where you do not have to deal with customers or people in general. It's not all the cashiers. Some of them attend well just that one cashier that I dealt with a few times always has poor customer service.

It's a regular food shop run by the locals who are mostly Mexicans. Stuffs are pretty much affordable and low priced as compared to ShopRite. Patronage is very low and the surrounding speaks of a non functional place. I had to ask the neighbors if the store was actually open for business. I bought a few cookie bars for little cost. I didn't see anyone wearing face mask at all.

The service is good but the prices there is high and sometimes it is rotten.

4/13/2021- Service is not good as the workers that set up the products aren't helpful and they are usually standing talking to each other, but the cashiers are nice and effective.

Their prices are too high, they sell expired food and produce. Please check your dates people. They are good if you’re a local customer that needs something quick, because honestly I prefer ShopRite. I gave them 2 stars because the staff workers are Ok!

Clean with some friendly staff, but not much variety. Recommended if you need last minute items but even then double check if the items available.

Want to know why I put only one star? Because I can't stand this place because of the service and the scenery it's disgusting I mean what don't they have money to fix the place up I mean come on I mean it's degrading the mold can make a person sick and the service is awful no respect for people I mean my friend went there for somethings and she had gotten sick from the mold so I'm not a fan of the place ewwwww.

Ask to use the restroom and watch them lower their heads and say, "No bathroom" as it looks like the Health Department should frequent that place!

Overall this place was okay, there's friendly employees and staff but can get crowded while waiting in line being that it's quite narrow, and sometimes just one cashier which adds to the wait time.

Small, expensive, outdated, lot's of homeless addicts around. No common courtesy, refridg erators are old. All ewuipment and the pace stinks like cat urine

This supermarket carries lots of Spanish and American produce and foods, its a very good place to shop. I like it!

Sadly their products are sometimes past shelf life. We've purchased spoiled chicken a few times. Need to be more food safety friendly.

This Prices are very high in this supermarket. I believe they are taking advantage of the neighborhood. This area is a low class area with many people receiving assistance of some kind.

Overall it's just ok. Prices can't compare to ShopRite or any other big grocery store. It's convenient for me because of its distance from my home but normally I would walk further to ShopRite. Store has made some interior changes which made it more convenient to shop. Overall it's not a bad store to shop but their selection is small on many items.
