Force Fitness Club, Ridgewood NY

I love that this gym is 24/7 and affordable, super convenient when you only have time at night to workout but the maintenance of some machines is poor. I am a frequent user of the stairmaster machine. They have 2: one is broken (it has been broken for months) and the other one barely works, you can't take a few steps without feeling that you are going to fall.
I asked a couple of times 2 months ago if they could fix it and the machine is still busted. Please fix it!

I returned after a long break to FFC because it is the nearest gym, but I was very disappointed, nothing has changed at all since pandemic, every other elliptical machine is broken. Dirty, smells awful. Dingy, rusty lockers at women’s room. Common! Don't you care about customers? ! I'm not surprised that many familiar faces have moved to the gym at BJ's, it doesn't matter that you go for workout, but the conditions should be favorable. I really regret coming back here.

A lot of equipment was broken and a lot were broken that weren’t tagged. Very dirty and smelly not too hygienic. I left after 2 workouts and resumed working out at my jobs facility. Too bad hours were great near my house and staff was courteous.

This place is a scammer I canceled my membership and they keep charging me and they had me on block the older Italian lady who sits in the front is a scammer too

Lockers
Close at 8pm. It’s suppose to be open until 8pm on Saturday’s. It’s 7pm Saturday and my clothes are stuck in the locker with no staff to help at all.

I was just about to sign up, but I read the reviews first! Thank y’all! I’m looking for a gym that is stress free, hassle free! No one has time for shenanigans!

They don’t answer the calls. I wrote an email but no answers as well. But today! I got an email from them. Automatic email. And they say in it “Believe me. I and my partner LISTEN. To everything. ”…… Well okay I will wait for the answer

I know it's a gym and you're supposed to go to workout but mostly everyone one here is very rude and gym is split into two crowds that management prefers. Very Clicky and the management only films the women (which in itself is very creepy). People that management prefers are very VERY rude to everyone else and think they're better.

No frills gym. A lot of old, worn, and out of commission equipment, and the place is kinda grimey but it’s cheap and gets the job done if that’s all you care about.

Unfortunately have had an umbrella stolen and recently my water bottle stolen when I took my eyes off it for 40s (who tf steals a used water bottle?) to use the bathroom. I know there's not much staff can do about it other than hope that person returns it - which will never happen. Shame staff don't offer to look at cameras or at least ask around.

Otherwise, no real complaints but there also aren't really any other gyms in the nearby area to compare to other than the recently opened one at Merto mall which I'll be giving a try as I'm getting tired of people lacking the common sense to not take treadmills next to a used one if possible. Prices are okay with the black Friday sale. The equipment is far from great condition, okay condition at best with several peices broken usually for 2-5 weeks at a time but at least it seemed to be regularly cleaned when I went on a more daily basis over the last 6+ years.

Old weighs if something breaks down they take months to fix it, water fountain sucks the water has been coming out hot for a while already and they haven’t fix it yet.

I was charged a $60 cancellation fee even though they advertise themselves as “no contract, no commitment. ” Was told it’s in the contract even though I never signed one. Buyers beware! I was in love with this gym until this happened.

Edit: I asked them twice for a copy of their contract to no avail.

I just paid for the entire year.

Trust me, if I could pay for a lifetime membership, I would.

The gym for its price is truly exceptional. Mike and team have built a community of fitness enthusiasts with the support / positive vibes that really kick-started my fitness program! They maintained their service over covid and kept their brand promise to the neighborhood. I’ve also supplemented the gym with private sessions from their network of great instructors.

This staff is so helpful. I just started working out, I had to get a spot from a girl next to me lifting twice what I was. Good price, $30/mo. Great hours, 24.

LOVE THIS GYM! Open 24/7 and they have great classes. Coaches are the best and the CrossFit classmates are really friendly. I would recommend this gym to everyone!
