Forest Urgent Care LIC and Forest Hills, Queens NY

The office is small but the staff works efficiently and quick to get everyone in the waiting room seen ASAP. The doctors have great bedside manners and it feels like they really listen and care, I feel confident I will get treated every time. Getting a PCR test was unexpectedly non-painful and I was grateful for that! Will be coming here more than my own Pcp: D

Dr. Lum is a wonderful doctor, patient and kind. Dr. Max is also great, both are good with kids. Staff is always considerate and so their best to move things along as quickly as possible.

Very bad place my son had a bum near his ear and it was hurting and the doctor treat him by pushing really hard on the spot and they They charge me $120 for nothing

Charged $85 out of pocket for a covid test, insisting it wasn't covered by ANY insurance. Which of course is obviously false.but what can you do? Turns out they're actually in network with my insurer, which means they're in violation of their contract with Cigna for refusing to take my insurance for a covered service. I'll probably get my money back because I happen to know how the insurance system works.most others probably don't even know they've been cheated.

Unethical business = 2 stars. Beyond that, all the individuals I interacted with were brusque at best and simply rude at worst. Which I guess is what you'd expect from a business that's cheating its patients.

also as urgent care visit.dr there is nice, and girl is very sweet too.it was nice to come here, when you worry.they help alot.all my family came to them now

Apparently, if you don’t feel anything with your swab it likely was not done correctly. I didn’t feel anything when the doctor inserted the swab so I don’t think it was done correctly. Now I’m experiencing some symptoms and will probably have to go to citymd for a another swab test. The doctor was nice but I wonder if he has experience administering Covid-19 tests.

Dr. LUM is the best of the best. I’ve seen him over the years on many different occasions. He is always very professional, considerate, and knowledgeable. I live in Pennsylvania now and if I’m very sick, I’ll take the trip to come see him. He can definitely verify that statement! If your not feeling well or even think you broke a bone.he’s the man you wanna see! Thank you Dr. Lum.

They are looking to make extra money on the side. My partner and I called our insurance to see if our rapid test for Covid 19 were cover and we both got a yes from our insurance (two different ones). This locations stated that they would charge the insurance for the test but they wanted an additional $85 per person to get the results. When I explained that the insurance told us they covered everything. They suggested I go somewhere else if I didn’t want to give them the extra money. Which is exactly what I did. Stay away from this thief SCAM!

I went there for covid-19 test and antibody test for traveling. They are super fast. It only took 28 hours until I got the report. I was so worried that if we couldn't get the report on time, we will miss the flight. They even called the lab for me to speed it up. Thanks everyone in Forest Urgent Care. I really appreciate it.

Staff in Forest Hills polite and caring. There was a full waiting room and a long wait but they took my number and called me when I was next so that I didn't have to stand outside in the cold. Just FYI to all that unlike CityMD covid tests are not free here. They go through your insurance and charge you a copay for urgent care (for me that is pricey). They told me this in advance.

Fast and thorough service. Everyone from the front desk to Dr Lum himself was so kind and made me feel comfortable. Highly recommend! I’ll be back for any future health needs.

I needed a COVID test, quickly. Not because I was worried that I have it, but because I needed to prove that I didn't. Which means I didn't want to go wait in line for 2 hours with a bunch of people who think they DO have it.

Made an appointment at 3. There by 5, with a distanced waiting room. Out by 5: 30. The RN had a feather touch with the brain-stab, too!
