Forestburgh Playhouse

Love going there! The shows are awesome, the service and food is great! I’ve been going for years and will be back…and the AC does work even though another review said it doesn’t.

Actually haven't seen the show yet. Review is for the Tavern. Came with a group lunch and show combo. Our waitress was overwhelmed. NO HELP FROM OTHER STAFF. We were near end of being served. So others could have been available to help. It is minor. But we didn't get coffee.
UPDATE: intermission of Kinky Boots and the show is excellent!

Went to see kinky boots, a family member was the musical director.great show.went to the cabaret afterwards, had dinner and they sang all Cyndi lauper songs and my family member played the piano, since she wrote the music for kinky boots.it was great and the food was delicious

Two of my Wonderful friends took me here this past Labor day weekend. Im from Ohio and It was my first time at a Social event. The Show was great and the people were fantastic. Definitely a place to stop for some Rich entertainment and fun conversations. I look forward to visiting again my next time in New York. Keep up the Amazing work.

2 great shows this season, looking forward to Rocky. Older venue with bad bathrooms, semi comfortable seats. But we were there for the shows.

Tonight I went to see Mamma Mia and can I say that you guys did a fabulous job it was wonderful I commend all the actors and the band it was just a fantastic show I really enjoyed it I just want to give you guys two thumbs up and let you know that definitely it should be a 10 star for this play I highly recommend it and think that I really enjoyed it last year I went to Rocky horror and it was fantastic I will be coming back in October to watch Rocky horror again but I just wanna let you guys know that I was very impressed and really enjoyed my time

Went to see momma Mia today play was awesome. The outside temperature was 91 degrees inside had to be at least 90 degrees the only cool place was the bathroom. I thought we were going to have heat exhaustion by the second act. I went last year and they had AC. DON’T go not worth the money to put yourself through the heat and fear of passing out like I did today. I went with 2 women in their 70’s. I’ll never go back. I really enjoyed going there, guess it’s the Shadowland from now. They don’t mind putting on the AC for the price you pay

Great shows, comfortable seats, air conditioned. Changed shows last minute. Not happy with the one they put on. June 29,2022

Went there to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show and I had an amazing time! The actors were phenomenal and were so into character. I will definitely be going every year that I can to see the show!

While staying at an AirBnB in the area we found the Forestburgh Playhouse and it was awesome. I suggest going early to walk the grounds as the flowers and gardens were beautiful.

This is a little gem in Forestburgh. Took my friends to see one of the shows and can’t wait to go again. Beautiful grounds as well.

The perfect way to spend an evening. The playhouse never fails to put on an entertaining show. Have been to many shows there. Worth going.

Very beautiful grounds around the playhouse. I suggest you go early to walk around / sit and enjoy them.

Beautiful place to visit. The shows performed there were phenomenal, and the town's residents a pleasure to meet. Very friendly and supportive of the playhouse.

We saw the performance of "Beehive" the musical story of empowering women from the 50's to the 70's using pop music as the medium.
It was a wonderful show and the cabaret is awesome!
