Forever Coffee, New York NY

Amazing veggie sandwich and iced americano, plus I love that they have a little table outside since I don’t eat indoors, and I love the Uptown Stories volumes they have. My only complaint is I wish the kitchen were open longer!

I don't care too much for service ever. So my review is in no way based off that. Im a local and come here often and have had my fair share of both good and bad experiences with customer service. My review is solely based on food and I can genuinely say this place makes banging breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Im extremely disappointed with the fact that I paid $6.50 for a freshly squeezed orange juice and what I got was less than a glass full that by the time I was home was watered down with ice that I didn't even ask for. Things like this make supporting a small business such as this one very difficult. Nonetheless my advice is be fair and give people what they're paying for. As I said earlier the food is great and I'll be back but im really disappointed at the greed that was clear as day with this juice order. Do better

Nice little coffee shop. Wish the food was a bit more generous for the prices they charge.
Also, the no phones or laptops rule? It's an NYC coffeeshop, have fun enforcing that.

I’ve been coming here for many years and love the bagels and pastries. The menu has changed a lot and I always look forward to trying new things. The coffee could be a bit stronger and the lattes are a little weak for my taste, but depends on your preference

Disappointing and underwhelming. Ordered an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese and it sadly had barely ANY cream cheese on it. I also ordered a drip coffee which tasted burnt and bitter. Truly bummed because the menu looked good and was eager to try other options.

Cozy little coffee shop with a communal table and two smaller ones around it. Service could use improvement; initially confused by cashier’s location and felt ignored by the barista until I figured it out. Loved the delicious lemonade and avocado toast, but the 20-minute wait was a drawback. The container provided for the toast made it a bit tricky to eat with a fork and knife. With more focus on hospitality, this spot could easily transform into an amazing coffee shop experience.

It was fine I suppose, but they are a no-work coffee shop. I don’t mind so much them not having WiFi but they didn’t allow laptops at all, which I really wish I would’ve known before walking 15 blocks to get here. Food was pretty eh and not worth the price. Cold brew and service was fine.

Cold brew was smooth and coupled great with their pumpkin bread. We got a couple sandwiches that were both fantastic. Coffee came out quick but the kitchen was just a touch slow so maybe don't expect to drop in and grab food quick on the way to the subway. All in all it's a great spot though and we'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere was nice but the left much to be desired. This place is called "Forever Coffee" because your orders take forever to make. If you don't believe me go there for yourself and order something.

Love this coffee shop! The vegan melt is SOOO good, I strongly recommend. They also always have had a vegan pastry or some kind which is so awesome. If the line gets long they have an iPad for you to place and pay for your order - huge convenience! Definitely recommend to anyone who lives in the neighborhood or is passing through.

Regular black coffee was what I would expect from a high end place in my home town. Kids liked the fresh baked bagels. Glad I didn't go to Dunkin lol

I rarely ever leave reviews and I’m relatively easy going. I ordered via their website lunch for my staff. When I got there, doors are locked and there is a sign saying closed for the day. Ok, while inconvenient considering I walked over half a mile to get here, I wasn’t upset; I get it, things happen. What irked me was the terrible, or lack thereof, customer service. I knocked on the door to see if the employees could refund my order, but they just ignored me and hid. They’re also ignoring my phone calls. Really unprofessional. We won’t be coming here again, that’s for sure. Will need to contact credit card company to dispute charges if they don’t rectify the situation.

A small place for a meal or a chat. The place isn't for work, so disconnect and enjoy time.

80% of the time my order is wrong. It’s either there’s no egg added or no bacon added. This is an $9 bacon and egg sandwich with chipotle sauce. I love supporting the local shops in my community but I must say I’ve been so disappointed by this spot. Only leaving a review because for the 6th time I had to leave my apartment and go back because my order was done wrong. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

Terrible service, slow as it can be. The cashier had such an attitude I get she’s overwhelmed but customers shouldn’t be at the backend of that for no reason. I placed my order told it to her twice waited 20 minutes just to get the wrong order. Get the girl some help or someone that can handle it. Her reaction to my order being wrong was her grunting and walking away to help another customer. I don’t know maybe they just treat the white transplants right way because I’m beyond confused on the positive reviews.

I really love this place, I've been a regular for years. The one thing I no longer love is the staff. They argued with me today about what I ordered, saying I ordered a sandwich a certain way (that I did not), got argumentative, and then were talking about me loud enough for all of the customers to hear.
I'm allergic to eggs and never would have ordered a sandwich with sourdough, but the girls still argued that I ordered it that way.
It's normal for frustrations to occur in customer service, I've been bartending and serving for years. What is NOT normal is talking about customers loud enough for everyone in the cafe to hear. It doesn't matter who was right and who was wrong, it's your attitude in the situation. They both had VERY poor attitudes in a miscommunication.
Very unimpressed with the new staff here.

Best latte I have ever had & i work at a major coffee chain. Lavender syrup has my heart.

I am a very polite person naturally, So dealing with rude customer service is always very surprising to me. This would be my third time coming here so at first I simply ruled it out as the barista just having a bad day which is totally understandable. But unfortunately the girl “barista” with the long hair had a snotty attitude with absolutely no enthusiasm to be there. She had no knowledge of the menu and was obviously annoyed by any questions I asked about the menu. Overall very disappointing experience considering the coffee is good and I was really excited and sincerely wanted to like this place, but she ruined the whole experience and sadly I will not be returning.
