Very cool spot. Very friendly and helpful staff & owners. These guys helped me out when I was in a pickle having left my wallet in a cab and the owners of this bar allowed me to use their landline for over an hour and even gave me some cash to hold me over. Unbelievable hospitality and generosity. Thank you legends.

This place is great, can recommend. Very chill vibes and excellent comfort food. The chickpea coconut stew was delicious with crunchy onion pieces ontop. Staff are speedy and the prices are still very reasonable. You can even play board games and sit to relax also. Doesn't feel rushed at all.

The best venue on the last nyc visit. Brought there by a friend of mine and what a night it was. Brilliant staff great vibe

BEWARE OF AUTOMATIC 20% TIP ADDED WHEN DINING IN. I had NO idea until I looked at photos from both receipts a couple days after. The sneaky part is that they don’t disclose this additional 20% on the receipt that you sign. I ended up accidentally paying a 40% tip…. Thankfully they’re refunding this to me but this sneaky behavior isn’t ok with me. Won’t be going there again.

This is a must try! Even on an extremely busy Friday night, we were sat quickly and had an amazing meal, drinks & service. It’s hard to hit all three and this place knocked it out of the park. Great place to go with friends as the menu is a bit diverse, great vibe and drinks. Give it a shot!

I want to give this place six stars. I never want it to close. It's a dive essentially but one that oozes authenticity. The staff is friendly, the prices are very affordable for dimes square, and the crowd is very cool. I've had incredible service here compared to some nearby places. It is an easy place to bring a few friends, grab some beers, and dish about your day while feeling totally relaxed and at home. Definitely leans more towards an art/skate/fashion/music crowd aesthetically (though I guess that's true of all Dimes Square) so if that's your vibe def check it out.

Amazing neighborhood spot. I walked by this place a bunch until I finally ate there. Service was amazing. Food was delicious. Not pretentious at all. Felt very authentic. I’m definitely planning on becoming a regular here.

Went here with a group of friends and the staff, food, and atmosphere were ‍. I got the spicy watermelon margarita, I HIGHLY recommend this, probably one of my fav drinks I've had in NYC. If you are looking for a chill environment that feels like a true NYC bar, this is your place. I had a great time here.

Favorite new (for me) restaurant in New York (Pilgrim on Orchard told me to go here), I love it. A hybrid of NYC and Paris. Great coffee and great falafel type bread, I ate a whole basket. Lol. The steak was awesome as well. Cooked just right.

As usual, I just stumbled upon an awesome bar.walked past and at first and saw general store. Well we're not in the 1800's anymore so i did a double-take and happens to be a really cool place! Pickel Martini was awesome definitely coming back and bring friends!

Never a wait for brunch and great drinks with solid food. A little slow service sometimes if it's packed
