Fort Tryon Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing reviews
16Fort Tryon Rehab provided best service a friend could ask for. One of my best friends mother was very sick. Before she passed away the nurses showed sincere and professional care toward her mother, they gave instructions step by step to provide the family with knowledge, the doctors explained everything to every family member lovingly and professionally. I had faith in the people who worked here to ensure positive outlook and best care possible. That's what they did for my friend and her family.
This place bad service I have my father here then I have to take him out definitely it's not worth it don't bring your family here
Este Lugar no es bueno muy mal servicio
No no vale la pena
Tenia a mi Padre aqui y tuve que sacarlo,
Amazing care with a great team of nurses. I love the food they have to offer. Very friendly staff who are very helpful if ever needed. I would absolutely recommend this facility to any family looking for a great facility.
Their attitude is the worst that I've ever experienced I got a younger brother in there just now I got off the phone with somebody with an attitude like you wouldn't believe if anything should happen to me I do not want to go to that place as a patient I've already picked my persona and is Upstate New York and Long Island their attitudes are a lot better over there good luck to the employees in that facility they get away with things that you wouldn't believe
Not great. They are SEVERELY understaffed and getting answers takes forever. My husband was in this facility for over a month and they cleaned his room only twice. It’s disgusting. The mattress is bigger than the actual bed, making it slide down all the time.
Food is TERRIBLE. My family and I brought my husband his three meals every single day because of how bad their food is. We heat our food up in the microwaves and for a few days all three of their microwaves were down. How?
The sink in the bathroom in his room was broken the day we got there. We told staff about four times. It was never fixed. Even the elevator floor tiles come off. This place is an actual joke.
Also the fish tanks in the lobby look like they haven’t been cleaned for years. Truly don’t know how those fish are alive.
The PT/OT team are the only saving grace here. There are a few staff on site that are amazing, but that’s it. I would not recommend bringing loved ones here.
Yes hi as I'm writing this my brother who had a stroke and was hermaraging in the brain was at the hospital for five weeks and then place at Fort Tryon not knowing what to expect or what to look forward well it's been three weeks of constant drama my brother is not the most how should I put this (patience) person I know but we have to remember he's been through a lot of trauma (had a piece of bone from his scull cut, over 35 staples on his head) personal problems teenage daughter at home practically unsupervised, but back to FT he has fallen out of bed twice with no itmitiate response although he assured me he press the response button on multiple times one of the times he was splatter in sh.because his adult diaper had broken through and the responding nurse mocked him and continue to anialate by telling him he was a baby, we're in the process of trying to move him. I've been going to visit him everyday (except one) out of the three weeks he's been there and I see a lot of good caring workers but there's always some that are not so I gave two stars. Mr. Desmond the social worker responded and was very helpful the front desk personal always friendly and willing to help and many of the nurses that always were willing to listen.
First visit and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Juviie at the front desk was so helpful and kind and the neighborhood is also wonderful! Thank you!
I have called several times looking for information. Customer service is poor and very rude. I understanding everyone is busy however first impression make an impact.
The staff was very rude, and didn’t seem motivated to take my aunt to the bathroom, the shift nurse offered excuses, but I insisted and then she had a nurse put her in the bed pan. The reception people on he first floor were very professional, the staff on the 5th floor was very Unprofessional! I hit the wrong key I meant to rate them a 2! I will be back soon and I hope that I see some improvement
The visit could have been a bit longer 30 minutes is not enough time to visit with someone you haven't seen in a long time
When I went with my mom to visit her friend, the people at Fort Tryon NH were pretty TERRIFIC from the moment we entered until we left.
Truly disappointed with the service from staff members in this facility. It is difficult to get a hold of any of the nurses and you will get transferred many times or hung up on. The physical therapy team are the only decent ones. It takes hours to give your loved one any meals you drop off for them and they will leave them sitting in their filth almost all day before someone comes to clean them. Management needs to look into these issues and the growth of patients!
When I went to visit my neighbour, the people in Fort Tryon NH dealt with us with a lot of self-respect and humanity from the moment we entered until we left the place
I really liked the place
It was a good luck that my uncle got accepted after his knee replacement surgery as a resident in Fort Tryon nursing home and Rehabilitation.
I was able to obtain very important information regarding care for my mother at this rehabilitation center. The receptionist team is truly dynamic.
I've been to the facility many times prior to COVID-19. Prior to COVID 19 I recall walking into the lobby and everyone being so kind and greeting me. I love the staff there. They truly care for their residents. There is two kind of people in this world, the ones that go to work to get a check and the ones that actually care. Workers there actually care. They treat the resident's like they're supposed to be treated; like humans not diseases.
Wherever Fort Tryon goes I will always be a supporter of the facility.
