The food took forever to come but it did taste good. Staff is extremely rude. Not worth the money.

Lots of really interesting and unique flavors here! I got the tidewater saffron and pistachio ice cream which was a little heavy on the rosé extract but still very tasty. It's slightly overpriced ($5 for one scoop) but hey it's New York, NY! Very nice staff and good customer service.

I loved their macaroni and cheese because it's absolutely delicious and it was made the way I usually make my own.

According to the literature at the Forty Carrots, this café introduced frozen yogurt to New Yorkers over 40 years ago. I’m not sure if that’s true but what I do believe is that, over those four decades, the portions must surely have grown in size. My daughter ordered a regular chocolate fro yo for $6 with some toppings, and the scale of the dish that arrived was monstrous. By the time she’d eaten enough to take her to the brink of diabetes, she’d hardly made a dent. It did taste good though. I would have liked to order a raspberry fro yo but they only serve them on certain days and not the day we were there. Instead I had Raspberry Cloud frozen yogurt smoothie made from fro yo, honey, milk and raspberries. I can honestly say it tasted fabulous. Also of note was the NY cheesecake my dad ordered, which was delicious. The café also sells all kinds of reasonably priced wraps and salads, but we didn’t try any of those. Given that the café is on the 7th floor you’d think the view from the enormous windows would be stunning, except that there are no windows. Shame!

Its cleans great staff except one lady that always has an attitude, never smiles and tries to charge extra like its gonna go in her pocket. If she was the only worker, i would not ever go there. Ill catch her name for next time. She makes the experience so terrible. Middle eastern lady w glasses and a attitude. She should be fired!
Doesn't fit in w da rest of the staff. Other than that food is great, froyo i can't live w/o.

Had lunch on Saturday June 9th. The service was good. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was good but nothing to write home about. I had the quinoa salmon but substituted it for the fingerling potatoes, salmon portion very small. Also had the yogurt, that was probably better than most yogurts I've tasted. I would recommend this place to eat but know that it's a bit overpriced in my opinion.

We just had deserts and coffee in the full service area. Slow and “in a hurry” service, not much happy about having us there not ordering full menu. Waiting 20 mins for the menu and also long just for what we ordered. Space is like Ikea restaurant with simple chairs and table, not very clean with breadcrumbs. The deserts were ok, coffee (espresso) was super bitter, really bad. Not sure what is this restaurant trying to achieve.

The food here is disgusting. Overpriced food with no taste. The walls on this place is really dirty and the food is old. They gave my kids fruit salad but mlst of the fruit was soggy and old. My veggie burger bun was crumbling most likely bc the bread was stale and they jsut toasted it it came with this soggy carrot slaw thing which had absolutly no taste. The kids baked chiken fingers were greasy might as well jsut deep fry them. Do not go here.

The frozen yogurt used to be the best in the city, now it just tastes like creamy soap water- Not worth the calories! The service is friendly and the venue is clean, so they get 2 stars from me

We hadn't been here for many years and decided to grab lunch while browsing the store. We were seated immediately and served promptly. Once we ordered our food, within 15-20min all of our dishes were served. The food was fresh, seasoned well and flavourful.

As I can't consume dairy, I wish that they had a non-dairy "yogurt/soft serve" alternative.

My husband and I decided to have a late lunch at Forty Carrots while in Bloomies. Most of the chairs and benches were covered w/ crumbs which was nothing a napkin couldn't fix. Then the server arrived wearing a FILTHY large, white apron. (You could see large, dirty brown streaks in the shape of finger marks on both sides which look ls like she wiped food covered hands on her apron instead of washing her hands.) We ordered coffee which the server carried out with her fingers cupping the top of the mug. The coffee was cold and muddy in appearance. After asking for a refill later she took my cup away AGAIN CUPPING THE TOP PORTION OF THE MUG where one would drink. She brought it back holding my cup in same unsanitary fashion. My salad with grilled chicken was great, but for $18 there should be more than 4 small pieces of the delicious chicken. Lastly the server knew I am gluten- free and still served my salad with a huge very stale rock hard soft pretzel on top of my salad!? Overall the food is good but at this location.all could be cleaner and more sanitary.

Frozen yogurt is creamy, tasty, gigantic, and an institution — don't miss the peanut butter flavor. Staff is hit or miss.

The coffee yogurt is good for 5.50 but if you buy almond they charge you $2.00 extra and
$1.00 for coconut
It's a total rip off
Never buy it again

I think this is a good place to have a quick lunch or early afternoon bite to eat. The portions are quite generous and the lady who served us was quite friendly.
I enjoyed the tacos and we also got frozen yoghurt as dessert. The size of frozen yoghurt is very generous.
Very nice indeed. Good after a long day of walking around and shopping.

Best frozen yogurt. I prefer the plain and the generous portions. I also recommend the chicken soup, tuna sandwich, quesadillas, and turkey sandwich. Food tastes good and it is also healthy.a rare find. Yes, some of the staff is less than friendly. The woman who seats the customers is high-strung.
