This company is a stay away from. It’s unbelievable how they will take advantage of you. So this is how the scam works, you send a lengthy lumber materials list, framing for extension or whole house that sort of quantity. Now let alone being a contractor and managing time to prepare a full list, you transfer it to email. And send them the list. They call you back almost immediately and ask a question to make it seem like they are working on your huge list. They get back to you with quotation. You glance it and are surprised by how competitive the price is, it blew out the competition by a couple thousand.

Impressed by the lower price, and the pressure from the sales, you give a credit card almost immediately. (You still haven’t looked at the details and compared it to what you emailed them) until the expeditious delivery arrives usually same or next day. Your framer comes running the minute he realizes (next day) the 20 something ft lumber is missing! What? ! Yes they never sent it! Happens to be that’s what we need first. You frantically call them and they say oh I’m sorry but that was never on the invoice …. What the ****. So if you needed that lumber I can have it out to you tomorrow and the additional is $6,375. Unbelievable what thiefs. Now that you need the lumber immediately, you have 11 guys on payroll waiting for the lumber you are forced to go to lumber yard and pickup the lumber yourself. By the way the scam doesn’t end there. They sent me 23 pieces of 2 x 8 x 16 that I was charged for that I don’t need nor ever ordered. A way to hold down the next order of $6,000 huh? Well it worked! I was forced to buy the additional lumber so I can return/exchange the lumber I need.

Marjam, try spending a day in the life of a contractor. It’s hard enough. Don’t make it more difficult, we enough on our plate. And you cannot steal what is on our plate to benefit yourself. How many times can you do this before contractors stay away from you. I mean look at business for you guys. Don’t you see where you are heading? Keep stealing, having deceptive business practices, it will only put you out of business more quickly. People reading, go to other reputable lumber yards, metropolitan, kleet, riverhead, etc.most deliver and offer outstanding service. This was the first and last business with Marjam.

To the soft speaking elder lady who handled my sales, you put on a very polite stance but you were a part of the scheme. I don’t know how you sleep at night. You should go job hunting soon! Peace.
