Fountainview East Apartments, Buffalo NY

1. Rent: I have been in Buffalo for a year, moved 2 times, my rents were $500 for 1 room and $875 with private bathroom. Here I’m paying under $600 with private bath, + gas internet etc.
2. Neighbor: Before, those two places had very nice service and good housing conditions but I had party-animal neighbors, so I moved. Here, the sound insulation is better, (maybe just my neighbors are quiet.) however, flooding on the driveway after heavy rain.
3. Parking: usually many parking. I’m home before 6pm. No problem for parking.
4.the first month, I reported 3-4 problems, the worker usually come within 2 days.
5. Bad: On the moving day. I couldn’t get my key until afternoon, they renewed something but didn’t clean the unit at all, I found screw on the floor, no hot water for the first day.

I don't even want to give a star. They never reply your emails, work at office, answer calls. The managing company is highly unprofessional.

By far the worst apartment I have ever lived. Taking half-year to get laundry machine fixed why is that? This place is old, floor about to break any minute if you living upstairs. Sometimes even maintenance breaks door, I don't know what else to say. The office is also one of worst at all time, apparently they only work at Thursday and Friday Noon - 2pm other times don't expect they to pick up your phone. Please consider this place as last option, you can always do better.

Can you imagine living without air conditioner for two entire hot summer? Everytime we call the emergency maintainence, they sent different workers to check our conditioner. But all they have found was that our air condenses was broken. And none of them came again to get that repaired! Garbage apartments!

Mediocre at best, maintenance is horrible, management is worse and don't have too much hope with getting your full deposit back. At least the laundry room is good.

Overall this place is alright. I lived here for a little over 2 years. The neighborhood is safe, shopping and highway access is super close. They are pet friendly and accommodate dogs and cats. The over all building is a bit out dated but tolerable. The photos I attached were from when we first moved in. It eventually became very full and ended up feeling like home. The downside to this place is the staff that runs the place. They are slow to follow up with repair requests and have messed up our monthly payments a few times. Overall the staff doesn't seem to communicate very well. The maintenance manager has a bit of an ego and is unprofessional. He would often talk about issues going on with the staff especially when one of the workers in the office was let go. Over all his demeanor just made for an uncomfortable experience. I would just fix most things around the place myself if I could because It was easier than asking maintenance. So if you are handy and self sufficient, maintenance is not much of an issue.

STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! Live Under A Bridge If You Have To Honestly! The Fountain From This View is Broken! (No Fountain Either)!

Don’t recommend. Find somewhere else to live. The management here is bad if not terrible. The light in the hallway has bee out for almost a year and nobody has been sent to fix it even after reporting it a long time ago. The manager sent out an email for alarm device and furnace checkout last winter, but it never happened (it’s July now). The wall is paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talking and snoring. It’s really hard to get reply from the manager if you don’t include “please reply” in the email. The manager is very rude. When reaching the end of the year long lease, surprisingly they don’t allow us to extend the lease monthly by monthly.

Noise problems, ceilings broke, water leak and rude office members. I had horrible experience.
We left the apartment a month before our end of lease to only help the ' sweet managers' definitely not cos we just couldn't bear living there or seeing their faces (we have covid to thank for that too). I am happy now cos I managed to play along with their tricks and got the full security deposit back. I would recommend this amazing place to everyone who feels they haven't suffered enough in this life!

Windows are leak and the maintenance never come to fix the problems. Insects everywhere. Many holes on the wall. Although the rent is cheap but it doesn't worth it.

Called to request maintenance and was directed to call another number to get the issue fixed. After calling that number, I was quickly informed that I had been lied to. If they don't want to help you, they'll just lie to you and direct you elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Very bad maintenance. The managers are very rude and have no respect. House in very bad condition.
