Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Midtown West, New York NY

Horrible experience with customer service. I booked with them and never received a confirmation email so I ended up booking with another hotel. They then charged me a cancelation fee and when I called to speak to them, they refused to send me the confirmation email that was supposed to have been sent or refund the cancelation fee.

Great location! The hotel was nice and clean. All the folks we encountered behind the service desk were very professional and didn't mind going that extra mile for you. Will be staying here again in the future

Our stay was amazing! The hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to the Hudson Yards mall as well as the 7 line to help get you Midtown. The front desk staff, Cassandra (I believe) specifically, is so welcoming and always there to assist. The rooms were tidy and good sized for NYC standards. Will definitely be staying here again for my next NYC trips.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone at all. The staff at the reception (a guy) wasn't really friendly which doesn't even clearly explain to us about any additional charges on daily deposit to us at all (just make sure your account have got extra budget for all the charges). So we woke up being overcharged like every single day. And it takes them ages to refund it back to our bank account too after we left. The room doesn't comes with any large towels too which we've requested and I had to eventually remind them an hour later that it's still not sent to our room yet. At the end I've ended up going down to the reception to get my towels.
Apart from that, housekeeping wasn't done on a daily basis, when we went down to ask at the reception and had only been told that housekeeping is on every other day (which should be clearly mentioned upon checkin).
Plus the one of the USB plug by the bed side is broken too.
The pillow and the bed is extremely soft to sleep on as well and there are no alternative pillow to pick from.
Such a wonderful service for an expensive 4 stars hotel eh?

The only good benefit is that it's quite central and it's located near to Penn station, Hudson Yards, and Javits centre.

AVOID! Once you've checked out, they charge you twice the amount you were supposed to pay for your stay and they wouldn't give you an invoice or care about emailing you back when questioning the payments! Such a scam!

Mixed feelings about this hotel.
I'll start with the good.
Location is very good, easily walkable to places like Penn Station, Times Square, MSG.
Hotel was quiet, we were situated near the elevator and didn't really hear anyone.
Bed was comfy, shower was good, usb sockets also present.
WiFi free and was fast.
I love using the ice machines available, and wish we had them in my country in hotels.
Free bottles of water in the room.

The bad.
They take a $100 security deposit on arrival, then proceed to deduct varying charges every single day from your card. So if you're using a debit card to book, do ensure you have enough funds on the card. They do reverse these funds back to you after check out and they're only ever pending transactions. The last fund of mine was in my account about five days after leaving I think. It didn't really make sense what these charges were as it just looked random not adding up to a certain amount.
They clean the rooms every second day, some people would probably prefer every day.
The coffee machine which also is used for making tea.is rubbish. It drips out hot water eventually, takes ages to make a drink.
The rooms are fault small, not much space for suitcases or luggage.

Overall I'd probably stay again but I'd rather look for somewhere else first.

Great hotel, and I really enjoyed the NY experience. Marvin from the front desk is a top man and extremely helpful and professional. Thank you, Marvin, for making my family stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to all.

Our check-in time was 3pm however our room was not available until 3.45pm. This made it an unpleasant experience especially after a long flight. The king room we stayed in was quite small. Just enough space for you to walk around your bed. The bathrooms were clean and overall it was comfortable. The hot water and coffee on the way out of the hotel is appreciated especially when it's cold outside. You also get two water bottles in your room every other/second day when they make your room.

Very clean. That's all the good I have to say. It takes an hour to walk anywhere important. Heater didn't work. Conditioner and soap dispensers were empty. The safe battery was dead. They made the bed with the sheet in top of the comforter Front desk were rude. When we started to tell her the room problems, she asked the room number, and my wife said nice and slow, "one five zero three. " Then i began saying what was wrong, and she was clearly agitated, raised her voice, and repeated, "What is your room number? " At check-in, he wanted to put us in a room downstairs, and we paid extra to have a city view. He did "do it as a courtesy" but then chastised us for not reserving a city view in advance. Whatever, dude.

Rooms are extremely tiny. Towels, bed, water pressure, customer service is sub par. Room cleaning every other day. Room doesn’t have a fridge. Asked the front desk for an extra blanket, they asked me why I don’t use the heater…. Then never brought the blanket. Excessive pending charges for “security holds” amounting to $400 in three different transactions. Front desk couldn’t provide a reason for it. Absolutely not worth the price.

Facilities are up-to-date and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very close to Hudson yards mall/ vessel/ shed. Will be staying here again.

Reserved and paid for King sized deluxe. A month later checked in ahead of time and got the room. Showed up and they tried to give me a small queen sized room. Had to wait 45 minutes for them to fix it. Got food from their restaurant and it was all wrong.

The front desk staff was more than accommodating. We arrived very early and they were unable to check us into the room we requested which was understandable. They instructed us on where to park and stored our luggage while we enjoyed our morning. Very kind with offering water bottles, good conversation, and greeted with a smile.

The cucumber water is the best touch in the lobby and my favorite. The coffee was perfect for the morning and saved us time and money.

Our room was beautiful and had an amazing view overlooking a gorgeous rooftop garden and the city.

I have been raving about our experience to everyone I have told about our visit to the city. I’m from White Plains and have been to the city many times but this was my first time staying in the city and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We will be staying here every time we come back home.

Loved my stay here. Convenient location near Chelsea piers. The staff were all so kind and fun to chat with. The room was kinda small, but bathroom was large. Plenty of good healthy food options just around the corner.

Bad service and lack of flexibility in the restaurant. Hotel room is very decent. Location too.
