I travel to Four Points often as it is very conveniently located and the staff are wonderful. Adam is especially helpful and they treat clientele well. Surely best prices for the area.

While the room and service was alright, I was not refunded my security deposit after waiting out the given deadline and after contacting twice afterwards. We contacted for inquiry and we were told to wait two weeks before a manager came back. Then, we were told to wait a further 2 weeks yet to no avail.

In addition, upon arrival, the security deposit was considerably higher than advertised when booking ($177 instead of advertised $50).

Do your research before choosing to stay here.

Good location. Family room was too small for 4 bodies. Toilet broke but only temp fix. Scaffolding covering front of location.

Great location and good service. The building is outdated. Very small lobby bar. Bed was very comfortable and the rooms were clean. Very thin walls. You can hear everything in the hallway or next door. Very small gym.

A good, reasonably priced option. On a quiet block. A short walk to some other areas with night life. Near the subway and walk along the Hudson. Would definitely stay again.

Average hotel, excellent location near the metro and free breakfast corner in the morning. The rooms are small but comfortable with comfortable beds.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel this weekend and had multiple issues, which was okay and we were understanding but the way they were handled was horrible. One of the nights our friend had our room key and was not with us when we got back to the hotel (I know this was our fault) however the front desk clerk was beyond not helpful and just plain rude. He had no interest in working something out with us and was basically insinuating that if our friend with the key didn't come back we would have to sleep in the lobby or on the street. We tried multiple different ways to work with him like changing the room to my name and card or calling the number left on the room to ask if we could get a key but he was so unhelpful and rude. Then the next night our AC broke and our room was over 80 degrees, we called and complained and were made to switch rooms at 11 pm. We spoke to the front desk upon check out and ask for some type of compensation and he agreed to $120 off of the last night. When we got our bill it was only $100 of so we called the ask why it was different. Once again they were so rude on the phone and were gaslighting everything that we said. All in all the hotel was fine but the horrible service and rude workers made our stay not nearly as enjoyable.

My husband & I stayed here for three nights, sharing a room with my brother & his wife. Very small room for four adults, but that was expected & we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. We wanted a safe, comfortable place to sleep, and that's what we got! Room was clean & we didn't have any complaints with thin walls / hearing neighbors as others have complained about. Excellent location - easy to walk everywhere or hop on a Subway line. The front desk staff was helpful, accommodating, and friendly. This is a good option for a lower-cost stay right in the city.

My daughter and I stayed here the beginning of June. The first staff member we met was Chris and he was fantastic! All of the staff were great. The room was small (it is NYC), but comfortable. It’s in a great location with easy access to the subway from multiple directions. Otherwise, the walls are paper thin; so just hope that your neighbors aren’t inconsiderate dipsticks like ours were, coming in at various hours of the night, talking and slamming their doors without a care in the world.
We are also fairly certain that there was a splash of an unidentified male’s DNA on the floor, but we covered that with a towel and went on our merry way. If not for the unidentified stain on the floor and thin walls, I would have given it 4 stars.
Enjoy your stay in NY!

Small, dingy, outdated rooms with paper thin walls and blankets. I was constantly woken up by people in the hallways, the whole place reeked of disinfectant (as if another smell was being covered up….), and the black tile in the shower showed all of the buildup that hadn’t been properly cleaned. No fridge. Tiny bathroom. Location is convenient, but that doesn’t make up for the horrible nights sleep and headache from the smell. For the price, you can do a lot better in NYC

My daughter and I stayed here for four nights. The whole experience was pretty middling. The hotel is dark and camped. There are a couple of chairs in the lobby but that’s it for seating, and I never wanted to hang out there as it felt crowded and stuffy. They say there is a restaurant but it looked pretty defunct. The rooms are typical size for Manhattan at this price point but they really need some updating. Peeling wallpaper, carpet that felt sort of sticky underfoot (why do hotel rooms have carpet?), shower was functional but difficult to turn the water on and off. The sink was so tiny and the faucet placed so high above it that water splashed everywhere every time we turned it on. View from our window was just the blah back of another building. The walls are a little thin and we could hear neighbors coming and going but it didn’t really bother us.
The one saving grace of the place is the location. We easily walked to and from SoHo, Chinatown, Little Italy and the West Village. Lots of great cafes and restaurants, and easy access to subways. I wouldn’t stay here again, but I wasn’t horrified by anything either.

The room is small and attached to other rooms in close proximity. Therefore, I could hear the doors opening and closing from the other rooms. The area was crowded in the morning but went completely empty in the night.
Loved the staff. Subway is close, like 2 mins walk. Unlimited water bottles

Service attitude of staff is problematic
The deposit has been deducted
Explain that it will be returned in three to five working days
Waited for more than ten days and still haven't returned
Please do not reply to email

It’s not actually a two star hotel. But the average of 3.8 stars is way too high. AND because it’s a Bonvoy/Marriott property, I just felt the quality was very poor compared to other Bonvoy/Marriott locations in general. Maybe NYC is a class alone. EVERYTHING here is soooooo expensive that the price really does indicate the lower quality and class of this Four Points? It’s actually my first time staying at a Four Points.
Wallpaper is peeling in the bathroom, in several spots. There’s nasty water stains on the ceiling in the room. The window won’t close properly at all. There’s no fridge. I don’t mind the microscopic size of the room. But there’s also no space in the fitness room for yoga! No iron and board. No hooks for towels after a shower so our towels are all messed up and wet. Amenities are low quality. And now for the dining room. Don’t even bother. The wait staff is not well trained and very unprofessional. The breakfast that comes with the rooms, if you should make that mistake, is absolutely disgusting. The croissants felt and smelled and tasted deep fried! Ugh! The hot chocolate was no better than Swiss Miss. The order was wrong twice. The fried eggs were cooked hard and rubbery. The toast was just white Wonder bread and dry but not toasted. No jam, honey, or Nutella. The bacon was a mess and old! The scrambled eggs were dry and overcooked and filled with old griddle scrapings. I don’t think it gets much worse. A true disappointment. I actually asked for my points back. The general staff was a mix of helpful and kind and unfriendly. Does nobody in NYC smile? Or help cheerfully? Hahaha! I’m a New Yorker who has spent their adult life in the Midwest! Hahaha. Well, Now I’ll just say “Good luck to you. “ But stay somewhere else if you can.

Worst hotel experience ever, the windows and doors are extremely thin and it is unbearably noisy, on 5th floor, you can hear every car passing by. You can constantly hear loud door banging in lobby. I can bearly get any sleep even with an earplug

The lobby is small and not very nice looking. You would not want to meet up friends or colleagues in the lobby. The staff’s attitude immediately reminded me of why New Yorkers have a reputation for being rude. The comforters on the beds are super thin. There was construction literally right outside my window before 9am with loud drills. They don’t have breakfast Mondays. The pastries are not good. There is nothing nice about this hotel.

The location is fantastic, comfortable bed and pillows. The room size is perfect for three people, even though it had two beds. However, the bathroom sink omg water was everywhere the sink is too small for the size of the faucet.that's why I gave it four stars! Nice lobby with a bar and an awesome patio. There is also an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. The menu looked really good

Ok sized rooms, but without a fridge. However they do have temp control. Location is quiet side street.

Disappointing experience with the cab company they contract - was told it's a 60$ flat fee to LaGuardia by front desk but ended up paying almost 90 after hidden fees for tolls, tax and tip (which I told was included) - take an Uber next time.
