Francesco's Pizzeria & Restaurant Long Beach reviews
14 It’s a good spot to sit and dine in. The flavor is 8/10 on most slices. Always had a good experience at ordering my food.
I’m not sure why the slices are little on the expensive side. I guess because it’s Long Beach. But Costco is around the corner so I’m sure they can bring their food costs down. Maybe it’s kosher? Other than that I’m always eating good here.
I got take out pie. The chicken bacon ranch and the Philly cheese steak pie were both absolutely delicious! We got it twice in one week lol. 10/10 would recommend
1st off, the food is delicious. I can do a quick slice or order the dinners for the family and everyone is always happy. Staff was cool too. Owner took time to talk to my kids about how to make pizza. That alone, outside of great food, will keep me coming back. 5+
I have spent several periods of time in my life where I needed to sleep in train and subway stations, finding my meals in trashcans outside food carts and inhuman slop-factories like Sabarro's and Little Cesar, and I toughed it out and was deeply thankful for what little grub I could find. But I actually gasped out loud when I entered this backwater bait shop of a pizza joint. What a carnival of depression, filth and hopelessness! Those poor people who work there and have to keep a straight face while serving up gummy dough-flaps and chewy meatballs, having to stand and sweat in a business space which looks like someone gutted a laundromat and hooked up a steamtable in it-the whole scene simply broke my grizzled hobo heart. Even the vagrants who happily rummage around in the dumpster behind Yummy (Are You Ready to Contract Typhus) Yummy Restaurant will purposely avoid Francesco's dumpster; it just isn't worth the trouble it takes to raise your leg and climb inside.
Great pizzeria. Huge variety. They make calzone to order and go out of their way to please.other dishes are also excellent
Ordered a grandma pie half meatball half artichoke and spinach. I was asked oh you want the white sauce I said no, I want grandpa pie with artichoke and spinach on top NO WHITE SAUCE. Guess what I got, half meatball half white pie with spinach and artichoke. 3 strikes. I tried ordering this pie 3x they just don’t get it, not to mention the dough is more of a bread than pizza dough. Expect to pay at least 60-70$ for a pie that’s not even what you ordered.
I was here for the first time, the staff is very kind and patient. The place is very very clean! The chair and the table are not stuck. The pizza slices were very tasty, I recommend them to everyone who wants to eat delicious pizza.
I don’t usually write reviews but, Francesco’s deserves it. I’ve been a customer here for quite awhile now, it’s safe to say, they make the best pizza. Hands down! I don’t really have a favorite pizza here because everything that I’ve tried has been delicious. Every time I come in I always look at their food display case, all of it looks amazing…I try not to stay there too long because I know I’ll end up ordering more than I should. The people that work there are always pleasant. I usually don’t say much when I come in but, just know this place has a special place in my heart. Thanks for being great
Ahh finally a great ling w white clam sauce old school inLB! And the best siciliano slices ans quickly servicex by delivery when a the other places are closed at 9 pm on a wednesday?
loved this opportunity and my new go to italian in Long Beach, top knotch
First time I was here and it was very good. Took me a minute to choose because there were so many different types of slices to pick from, but not too many. The sauce was sweet how I like it and the dining area was very clean. The staff was friendly and patient. And they even have a rewards program, something I have never seen at any pizzeria in the Country. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Thank you Guys
First time eating out since I was diagnosed with celiac disease. Got the gluten free pasta, called and spoke to the manager Sal and he walked me through the gluten free options. Amazing experience!
It's a great pizzeria a much needed addition to this area Gino's is solely going by recognition so it's nice to see a pizza place that actually makes good pizza come into town I recommend this place to anyone who lives near by or just traveling around the area you can't go wrong here.
So many goodies here. Also try the chicken ceaser wrap and the fried capellini. Different and delicious! Like everything else there.
I’m not near this place, but since my gf wanted to drive around we stopped here for a quick pizza. I have to say friendly staff and pizza was good.
