What a fantastic tour we received from Marion! The house is restored to great detail, and the family history is a compelling part of the tour. Make sure you book in advance as there is no self guided option. The guided tour is well worth it.

Breathtaking setting for a FLW house! Restoration work has been beautifully done. Always a treat!

We stopped to visit on our way to Niagara Falls on the recommendation of a friend. We were grateful to get on the last tour of the day. Our tour guide, Marion was a great tour guide.
Very knowledgeable offered anecdotes about the family and visitors. The view is spectacular. I would probably have given Graycliff if it had not been for the art installation in and around the house. It took away from what we were seeing I found the piece in front of the fireplace which very distracting. Please let us see the home as close to the way it was.

My family loves Frank Lloyd Wright designs and we were looking forward to visiting Graycliff. There is an art installation on the grounds and in the house that was very distracting and not at all complimentary to the theme of the property. Loved the tour and the house, our docent was excellent. But the modern art juxtaposed against the home and the backdrop of Lake Erie took away from the experience. I agree with making modern art more accessible, but Wright would have hated it.

This is my favorite Frank Lloyd Wright site- beautiful setting and knowledgeable guide (Danny). We chose the two hour tour and loved learning the history of this estate. The restoration after the house had changed hands several times is very impressive.

Stunning property, fabulous restoration, interesting history. Well put together and comprehensive tours (we did 2 hour one) give background to the house and it’s owners and the famous architect. Tranquil grounds and glorious lake views from inside and out. Book well in advance in high season. Worth visiting both this property and the Martin House on the same day if you can.
Well curated gift shop, clean washrooms, and ample parking.

It was a nice tour. The guide was excellent. She brought a lot to it. Not sure the cost is warranted, but it's a good cause. The front desk person could be a bit more friendly, and whoever I spoke to on phone a few days before the tour was not pleasant. But, the place was very inspiring

Having an abstract art exhibit in the middle of a Frank Lloyd Wright space was very distracting. I bought a ticket to see a Wright space.

We had a wonderful time visiting Graycliff Museum. Our docent was so knowledgeable and we felt transported back in time when Frank Lloyd Wright built this beautiful summer residence right on Lake Erie. A must see for any FWL enthusiast! Hint: they also combine tours with the incomparable Martin museum in Buffalo, a mere 40 minute drive away!

Very interesting home. It had some differences compared to other homes he designed because changes were made specifically for Isabelle Martin, the wife of Darwin Martin. Isabelle wanted this summer cottage to have more light throughout the house, so it wasn't as dark as most FLW designed buildings. They also had an art exhibit at the time we were there that I felt took away from the tour of the home. Still a tour you want to take if you enjoy FLW architecture.

Great 1 hour tour led by recently graduated docent Kathleen. They must have a great training program for docents since she was excellent and answered all our questions.

In connection with the Albright Knox Gallery, the Grayclift is home to one of our Public Art projects with Sarah Braman. Sarah is an artist who lived briefly in the Buffalo area, and this exhibit is the first time she has her small works worth her big works, and the big stuff weighs around 22,000 lbs. Go check it out.
