Great value, delicious food and friendly service. Dropped a star because of the ambience. We were sat next to the kitchen - it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak and it was hot as hell, we were absolutely melting. Not helped by the wine which was served hot too - for having such an extensive wine list, they don’t seem to have anywhere temperature controlled to store their wine…
Ask for a table away from the kitchen if you go on a hot day!

I recently heard good word-of-mouth about Frankies and it’s been on my radar to try out. My wife and I were not disappointed (except for the humidity but that’s not their fault)!

We sat in the back garden and started with antipasto to share which was light and delicious. I don’t recall what my wife ordered but I had the cavetelli with hot sausage and brown sage and it was exceptionally delicious! Homemade cavettelli, by the way. Following dinner we has the cheesecake and chocolate tart and both were really good! Do yourself a favor and have a meal at this place. The food and service (thanks Melinda) are both really great!

Some of the best service and food you can ask for. My husband is celiac / gluten free and the waiter was incredibly personable and walked us through everything. We were suppose to have dinner at Frankie’s but found ourselves in the area early and they welcomed us for a late lunch instead. Sadly, they didn’t have their GF pasta that day but we picked all items that were gluten free and the waiter broke it up into 3 courses for us — so it felt like we were experiencing a true Italian meal (just all gluten free). We left full and happy! There is something so homey about the inside and it makes you want to stay and enjoy another glass of wine (and Negroni) with whomever you’re dining with. We can see why it’s raved about!

Tried their food out for the first time and the meal was delicious here. I recommend trying them out if you can, the prices are fair and the service was amazing.

When we lived in the city, this was our absolute FAVORITE restaurant. After moving up to the Hudson Valley, we decided to have a date day to spend in this area of Brooklyn and made reservations at Frankie's. SO happy to report that Frankie's hasn't changed, and in a very good way. It's still just as wonderful as we remember. The food is astonishingly good as always, and the ambience is just perfect!

Now that’s Italian! This is Court St Brooklyn. You will have the best meal you’ve ever had before. Their menu is perfectly sized not one thing on it i wouldn’t order. Its close eating so be prepared to hop in or out of a conversation with others. They have a very cool Secluded back yard court area for more eating room when its nice out. The cocktail menu perfectly pairs with some of their dishes. If i could leave more stars i would.

Frankie’s Spuntino: A love story. I’m going to line out an experience for you. Plan a long evening. Start With the meatballs and some bread with olive oil. Visit and Laugh over pre dinner cocktails. Go with the Gnocchi, order a bottle of wine. The gnocchi is the best in the city- it will melt in your mouth. The ambiance, and stroll through Brooklyn - this is as perfect and picturesque as one could imagine

Grab a bottle of their imported olive oil and buy a copy of their cookbook. I make their pasta sauce and freeze it. If I could eat Frankie’s everyday, I would.

Need to get their stuff together post-pandemic. We got our wedding meal from this place two years ago, it’s beloved. Got steak and chicken delivered tonight and it was sub cafeteria boiled food level garbage.

Back patio was lovely! Service was on top of it and the food/drinks were good. A bit pricey, but worth it for the experience.

My wife and I got a seat at the bar on a Monday night. She had a crab linguine and I had fava bean linguine. I thought mine was good but nothing special - the beans seems a bit dry. My wife loved hers. The bartender was friendly and provided great service, and the romantic design of the space created a nice experience. Also, it's a great location! We walked down Smith and Court streets to get there and were really charmed by the neighborhood.

The staff was very professional and kind and accommodating. I was setting up flowers for a small dinner party that my client was having in the back garden area and it was really magical.

Wonderful restaurant! One of the best Italian spots in NYC. My wife and I enjoyed this place on one of our first dates, and loved it so much on so many dates since then that we decided to get married there! (They throw great weddings as well!)

Loved the food. Kinda tight quarters in there but no one seemed to mind.
Only gave 4 stars cuz I thought it was a bit pricey but the food itself was 5.

Sat outside in early March - heat lamps work wonders! We were particularly impressed with the pistachio cake and sweet potato gnocchi (not pictured; devoured instantly). The spiked hot chocolate was amazing too!

Unfortunately we needed to cancel our wedding at Frankies. Despite having a signed contract that specified we were entitled to a refund, Frankies decided to break it and kept our security deposit for almost a year. They offered a barrage of vague excuses on how they were in no position to return our funds. Well, we were in no position to lend out our security deposit interest free for a year, either. Not an ethical business, and will happily swindle you. Customers are revenue to Frankies 457 and are treated accordingly. Have a wedding here at your own risk.

Went for Easter dinner and you can’t beat Frankie’s food. A very close second is the service they provide and the ambiance they create though. A must visit when you’re in the neighborhood.

The food is freaking delicious here and the service is some of the best. I strongly recommend trying this out and bring the family too.

Ordered my food on DoorDash but I don’t even think I could call it food. The gnocchi had the consistency of mashed potatoes mixed with glue. It was an inedible mess covered in sauce and ricotta. The cavatelli was another mess of raw dough covered by flavorless unsalted butter. I had to throw away both after two bites. For $20+ per plate, I expected more and certainly something other than inedible slop. Exorbitant prices for disgusting “food” Don’t go here

Favorite Italian food in the city (ok *maybe* second to Babbo) but omg everything is excellent. Faves outside of gnocchi and all the pasta and the bracciole is the eggplant sandwich and the creme brûlée. Also the wine list is legit af.
