Franklin Cellars Wine & Spirits, Brooklyn NY

One of the best things about my new neighborhood is this *fabulous* wine and spirit shop! They have a great collection of global small producers and they focus on black-owned businesses. I am not familiar with many of the producers but I’ve bought at least a dozen bottles over the last several weeks, often with the help of Andrew, and they’ve all be awesome recommendations. Really delicious and “as advertised. ” Price points are reasonable — I got a very tasty Tempranillo yesterday for $14. They have a good selection of natural wines but can’t speak to those - is not my bag. I also appreciate that my dog is welcome at the store so I can drop by on dog walks (when in a fourth floor walk up, that’s damn near manditory)
