7Small but MIGHTY so well organized, fantastic community programs and their graphic novel / comic / manga selection is unmatched. My favorite library in Rochester
Comfortably small, great people, and easy parking. Take care during the school year for children, buses, and hours.
My favorite local branch. The librarians there are completely personable and service oriented. They have an amazing selection of DVDs. Convenient location too. Extra child friendly.
Very helpful staff, if you live in the area apply for a free library card.
They have a huge collection of books, CDs and games.
I returned one of the library book through the return window as the office was closed. After 10 days, I got an email saying that I owned $35 fine for not returning the book and the email threatened me to send to the collections agency if I don’t pay within 10 days. I called them three times and they still could not find the book. What I see from this point is, the staffs are so careless that they didn’t even update my account after getting the book. I end of paying fine at my local library branch at their maximum limit fine. Fine was not a big deal, if I had lost the book, but the book was returned to the library.
I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN FIVE STARS TO THIS REMARKABLE LIBRARY AND STAFF THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY AND I HAVE ONLY BEEN TO TWO LIBRARIES IN ROCHESTER DOWNTOWN LIBRARY BATHROOMS DISGUSTING SOME OF THE STAFF THERE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE PATRON THAT ENTER THAT LIBRARY.
SO CUDDOS TO DOUGLAS LIBRARY AND STAFF AND I DEFINETLY WILL BE RETURNING AND BRINGING MORE FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Amazing school. I went here for 7th and 8th grade in 2017 and 2018. All the teachers there were amazing and some of the best I've ever had. Had perfect attendance and a GPA of 4.0.
The students however weren't so great, they misbehaved and tried to pick on me and my friends occasionally. I made 3 great friends at this school that I'm still friends with to this day.
