The lady at customer server is so rude and ignorant, has no respect and had the audacity another time I called, that she has a break in 2 minutes and I'm wasting her time. I don't understand how management would allow such behavior.

Lady at the reception is really rude and acts like she owns the property. Been waiting to speak to the manager about something important but she never makes an appt or let's them know. It's ridiculous how we pay thousands of $$ and get treated like this.

0 Stars. If you think you’ll be helped when you have noisy neighbors, think again. Management drag things out for years until things escalate, they’re the worst. Receptionist are rude, condescending, abrupt, & can care less (find a new job). Maintenance is very unprofessional, you make an appointment, they never show, you call to see, they say they don’t see anything scheduled, & the work they do do, is HORRIBLE. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Save yourself.

As a resident of Fresh Meadows, it feels so good to know I live in a beautiful community as the Fresh Meadows Development. The people that work in this community are awesome. A huge shout out to Cindy Capasso, and Kim and Pam.and Adina and David and Nukes and all the maintenance crew and all the doormen you all are amazing! Love Fresh Meadows

Adina was the nicest person to deal with. She understood my dilemma and help me to resolve it. Love the surroundings and, park like lifestyle complex.

Ahahahaha…. Hahaa…. I love it. So where do I begin? For those who recently posted not long ago that this place has gone downhill only in the last few years, well to them I would say they must have only lived there recently and left shortly later as this place has been going steadily downhill for quite a while. Ever since a certain “ tribe “ bought this once nice nice establishment (many years ago) from the previous “ non tribal “ owner is when they began the slow and steady process in running it like the typical slumlords they are and very much the same in how (they) practically run everything else - namely cheaply with little care for us “ worker sheep “ (such as nursing homes and anywhere else the Govt will subsidize, etc ; just so they can run a money grift). Many many years ago this place built by the original owner who built it on a former golf course and the place really did resemble a “ fresh meadow “ with green everywhere and everywhere in pristine shape. Now it resembles something out of the Gaza Strip. Fitting right?

Yes it’s indeed true, I would not believe many of the (relatively recent) five star reviews if you had any sense of mind. Those reviews are bought and paid for social media reviews. I’m sure people are aware you can buy positive reviews just like one can buy fake members or fans for their social media page to hype it up. Same thing here - no different. Then some reviews could possibly be written by a few real people however only at (their) directive and I am sure by (their) “ incentive”.

Anyway I will be try to be short. Yes the problems that people listed are indeed true (too many). Yes there is apathy and negligence on the part of the front management office. The years that I lived there (2008 - 2011 at 190 - 19 at 71st Crescent and I hope they can figure out who I am. So they have to do their homework and figure out the actual APT #) I complained about numerous things (some things mentioned here by others) yet nothing was resolved. I complained about the tenants who lived above me who were noisy and rowdy with their child running all the time stomping on my ceiling waking me while I was a working student at St Johns Law. Then I brought to their attention my wall to wall neighbors who believed blasting music at night past 10pm was ok. Then I brought to their attention a nasty single old woman who lived well above me on the last floor who purely out of sheer spite to me falsely made 911 calls by lying to them about smelling gas she never smelled because she didn’t like the smell of my LEGAL AND PERMITTED BBQ and she not only pissed me off me but also the Fire Dept who knew it was a false call. The FDNY had to check nonetheless and knew I was doing absolutely nothing wrong. This old bag of fleas did this numerous times and they did …absolutely…nothing. But funnily enough they did once conveniently call me into the front office one day and only by surprise when I happened to stop by the front management office. Then they proceeded to blitz me about the noise I was making and I was stunned - I was baffled as it was seldom the case and only when I needed to raise my voice a bit on the phone to deaf or hard of hearing customers to my business. My suspicion here what happened - that is here for this kangaroo court of misers - was they overheard my loud and proud criticisms of their same troublemaking tribe and only THIS ACT compelled them to only lecture me of all people (really retaliate in true form) for what I think were the phone calls and only for my case for this one particular trivial instance which fell well short in comparison to other tenants’ transgressions that I and others brought to their attention. Yeah it’s true people…they run everything and you can’t criticize them or else you’re a conspiracy theorist …though it’s right out in your face.

God is just - to all - in the end. He doesn’t like what he sees. Clock is ticking. Tick rock …. Tick tock. Maybe you should repent and become one with his word. His clock is running

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LAUNDRY ROOM. Building is ok but machines are never working. Waste of time. Management won’t repair.

This is so ridiculous I received a letter from Management/Lawyer today for the collection of debt even we are not living there more than 2 years because of panademic we left that apartment because we weren’t able to pay the rent and when we spoke to the Management they agreed that’s why we left and they told us they aren’t giving us our advance back! If that work for you you can go but this is kind of unprofessional!

Adina and staff at Fresh Meadows Apartments are very patient and go above to assist! Great service every time

The leasing office was completely disrespectful towards my father who has limited English skills. The woman receptionist at the fresh meadows office was absolutely disrespectful and rude towards my father as he was asking for a specific piece of paper he had in hand and made him come in and out of the office when they could of easily gave it to him, as he was just asking for a specific piece of paper and he clarified that but due to his limited english they gave a very hard time to him on working things through without exact directions or resolution to the problem he was asking. I just ask the management to be more considerate and understanding towards those with limited English and wish this does not happen again.

Useless maintenance dept
They won’t fix my buildings front door so I can’t get in without someone buzzing me in. Called multiple times over the past 3 weeks and they say they’ll “get to it. ” Their 24 hour maintenance emergency line is useless as well. Called, someone named Cody answered and said he’ll “let them know. ” Never heard back! Nuke in the office is alright, only helpful one there

Fresh Meadows Apartments is a beautiful and safe place to live. Management, staff and maintenance department are professional, friendly, helpful and willing to help you when you have a problem! I give Fresh Meadows apartments 5 stars. Easy transportation availabe Q88, Q17 and expresses buses to nyc!

Nice area to live only it’s is the heat is barely on during the night time it’s cold outside I can stand the cold but I’m sure other tenants have the same issue as me with kids. The heat come on barely in the am hours when everyone is at work

Cant get straight answers from management! Laundry room is a mess.mostly machines are not working!
Everytime you go for laundry be ready to waste more then $10.00!
And then management will tell you that they are not responsible!

This place has gone extremely downhill. There is crime, even a shooting occurred yet the rent still stays high and nothing is done for safety. The management is a complete joke, they will disregard and outright disrespect you. Why even have these people work in reception or take calls if they hate interacting with tenants. Good luck if you have either rowdy neighbors, packages getting stolen, or anything in between cause management will not help you. Honestly look for a different place.
