Furnished Habitat, New York NY

I do not recommend this organization 100%. They are scammers, no customer service. We were 5 students and spent 5 months in one of their apartments in Midtown. Everything was a complication, our arrival was delayed two days, the apartment was in a terrible condition, dirty, things missing or broken. Mike / Micheal would not communicate with us or only by email, did not take us seriously because we were young. We had two visits from 311 (house departemental police) who confirmed that the apartment was not up to standard and that the management of our rental was clearly not up to the price we paid. From A to Z our stay in New York was altered by this apartment and the problems that accumulated. To this day we don't really know who we signed a contract with. I hope you will read this review before committing to them.

Highly recommend this company -very professional and accommodating. They helped my family find a perfect 2 bedroom apartment on UWS for their NYC stay. The process was easy and the apartment was spotless and had everything they requested: high speed WIFI, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable mattress, etc. Will definitely use them again!

My stay here was a great and experience & easy check in & check out process. Great location to walk around, walking distance to cvs & restaurants. Clean & specious for NYC. Highly recommend for your stay.

If I could put 0 stars, I would have. This company is extremely suspicious. Without focusing on the dirtiness of the apartment at check-in, the apartment was not secure: no smoke detector, bathroom not healthy (mold).
We are exchange students and we had to live in this situation for 5 months. The company offered to refund us but without any delay or proof, so we were not sure to get our money back, because on top of that we were forced to pay the 5 months at once under "risk of losing the apartment" (which is illegal according to the American procedures). Understand that we would not have taken the risk of being home less.

During the whole stay, we could not have any direct contact with the owner Mike, our only communication was by email (where he could take several days to answer us). No one was able to answer our specific questions and needs.
The positive reviews are as false as their organization: Marien, Jairo, Fabio and many others who put 5 stars and sell the praises of Furnished Habitat are also scammers.
Believe me this company does not deserve $1 from your pocket and you can find better and honest people elsewhere. Don't be fooled by these comments that are written by the employees themselves.

Rented a home on the Upper West Side. Everything went as planned; clean apartment, working wifi, comfortable mattress, and friendly staff at Furnished Habitat. This was actually my second stay with them. I had previously rented a home in Miami through the company. I would rent again

We rented a beautifully furnished apartment in NYC for relatives coming for a visit. It was exactly like the pictures. It was spotless and so well priced. I certainly recommend anyone needing a furnished rental. Five stars for sure.

Highly recommended. Great location, perfect for a modern and relaxing trip. Apartment is clean, very good communication by the host, responsive to guest's needs. Worth every hard-earned money spent! Will definitely book again!

Had a great Experience. Rented a flat in the coconut grove area of Miami. Check in was simple w/ Keypad. Unit was delivered clean and like the photos. I've rented a number of furnished apartments in my lifetime, and I appreciated that Furnished Habitat had Comfortable beds. This was my second time renting through them and will rent again.

It was amazing! When I travel I always count on Furnished Habitat, their apartments are ideal for whatever you need, traveling for business, with the family or alone, here I have been able to find all the options.
As a guest I have felt very supported and safe with the team.

If I could, I would rate this business 0 stars. Their listing was removed from Air Bnb due to them not following Air Bnb guidelines. They called me directly stating "Air Bnb was full of it" when in reality it was this company. They SCAMMED me out of my money and will not answer my phone calls or reply to my text. 1400 is what I'm out of while MIKE & FAZIO/FASIO are ignoring me, a paying customer. They are the worst and I do not recommend! I did not cancel my trip, I had plans of still coming, Southwest cancelled on me due to severe weather and had no other flights available. Now, the right thing that AIR BNB would've done is refund due to something uncontrollable but instead when you book through someone directly, they SCAM you out of your money. This is why your listing isn't on AIR BNB any longer, SCAMMER.
