Terrible company and terrible security provider. Management needs a clean sweep throughout, from the scheduling supervisors to the corporate side. Specifically, would like to make a mention of employee Eli Duncan - TERRIBLE supervisor and in need of communication, management, and scheduling training. Unprofessional, flat out rude, and incompetent. To make matters worse - he takes his incompetence out on the employees he’s meant to supervise. He reflects portly on the G4S name and he needs to be either re-trained or removed.

Great company to work for. Alot of opportunities to advance if you apply yourself. HR, management, and supervisors are very professional.

Everyone should be fired who works at the office. Idek how do they get hired. They can’t even complete an easy task. So unprofessional. The only person I liked was the trainer name Rodriguez.

I work for this company for approximately four days in two weeks. I call the company approximately 11: 35am on two occassion on date Monday, October 12th 2020. One guy spoke to me he was nasty and slam the phone on me another woman was extremely nasty and slam the phone on me. All I asked for a change of address due to the collection of my w 2 and they were very reluctant to even take the address. Now I see why these company always hiring. Poor motivation to employees, fraudulent and high turn over. In my opinion, these two employees should be discipline for slamming the phone on me without directing me to an individual who is specialized in the field of work, I was looking for. This kind of attitude should be taken seriously especially if I was a client to the business.

Personally, I was elated to work for them at first. I came in for an interview for a position and was told HR Personnel employee Carloyn Curiel) that I wouldn't be a good fit for it because I have a child. No worries! She recommended me for another position because apparently, they were going to fire someone who didn't know they would be fired. I started the process and then within days, my Account Manager (Alicia Finger) magically vanished. Months later, they (Carolyn Curiel) contacted me to say they had been trying to reach me - not true because none of my information changed and clearly they had it because they had reached out to me.

Okay, I am suppose to be starting in two days - no uniform and no contact with anyone from the site. No problem - I work well under pressure. At this point, I had already contacted my new contact person, Carolyn, who stated AND had me sign a Pay Notice form of what my pay would be. When I asked for a copy, she (Carolyn) said she would email it and have the uniform for me before i started. I ended up starting at the site and having to wear my own business suits. No problem either.

I have no way to sign in because they have you call from the site phone. The guy who helped with this was super quick and amazing, I believe his name is Hector. He gets the information and responds to emails. No more than two days into the new job, all types of things are going at the site. People who are suppose to be there aren't. I have no proper access to anything and no one seems to care that security is unable to secure anything.

Everyone is conflicted on what pay is suppose to be because everyone was told something different. I send out a massive email listening all of the laws and problems with the site and now the operations Manager (Terry Cruz) contacts me to 'apologize'. We speak and I express my desire to leave the site and she says she needs time to work on it but that I should work with her and understand that this isn't her only account. I attempt to be understand but that is the last time that I will speak to her until I resign. For a month and a half, multiple people on both coasts attempt to call and email her to no avail. She purposely, ignored all forms of communication from the site as we continuously informed her of the need for various things putting us in danger each and every day and more so, me than any one else because I was the day shift.

I finally complete my resignation letter and wait for the final straw. It comes with one of the other guards due to her lack of professionalism. I send it and speak with the client site managers to inform them that I will be leaving. I had already sent the email stating that I was officailly resigning and nothing. That day, everyone (Karina Sanchez, Terry Cruz and M. Culpepper) call me, in the evening, to express that they were unaware of what was happening and that I need to come in to the office on Monday.

When I go in, Terry attempts to tell me that I was in a fight with the other guard. I said no, I was not. I said that I simply did not speak with her and I kept my distance from her during the day. I expressed that she (Terry) is aware that I resigned because I CC'd her on the email with everyone else. She attempts to tell me that they have to discharge me from duty because of unbecoming conduct or something like that and that I am terminated. She wanted me to sign something that I believe was a termination notice. I simply told her that it doesn't make since to tell me I am terminated if you knew three days ago that I quit: that is exactly what resignation is. She looked baffled as if, I would not know how to speak up for myself.

This is the best G4S office in the country without a doubt. Everyone in the office has always been very informative and helpful when it came to finding sites that fit your experience and requirements. Carol, Karina, Danny, and Dwayne were always punctual and respectful, with any questions, concerns, or opportunities. I've never had any complaints when working for G4S NYC. Thank you all!

I’ve worked for six security companies and G4S is the most professional and organized thus far. The training they gave me before actually be on a site was very useful and efficient.

I only worked there for 8 months. It's just a security corporation. It's what you make of it. You just have to know your P's and Q's when working there and the sites you are stationed at working there. That will determine if you will grow and make a lot of money or stay stagnant and be bitter when you go nowhere in the company. They provided upscale Rothco Uniforms that were sturdy and clean. When I was there, the staff was professional and like any corporate job in the world, there are going to be some that are no good at all. Ive left the company because of something way beyond my control. My advice is to anyone that's going to work there is to mind your business, just take the money they give you every week and respect your superiors and clients. I will say it again, MYOB and take the check and repect your superiors and clients. The pay is depends on the site. I've left on bad terms, I'm not going to be bitter on the Review. It's just life.just follow my advice and just mind your business, respect the clients and bosses and take the money they pay you every week and on time. G4S is what you make it. Peace

I applied in December and invited for an interview by Karina Sanchez. I was hired and offered the USO position for JFK Airport. Also I completed the three day company training but that was in January and now we are in February and I was supposed to get a call from G4S at JFK for fingerprints and nothing. I been waiting for a month a week to work. HR and Karina are very nice but very unprofessional for responding to calls and emails. I emailed so many times and called so many times and nothing.

After waiting so long i got tired and found work elsewhere. I really wanted to work for G4S but after having me wait for more than a month i will never ever work or apply to G4S. G4S thanks for nothing. Learn how to respond to calls and emails.
