Gallaghers Steakhouse, New York NY

Let’s get the obvious out of the way: this place is classy, pricey and offers great quality.
I enjoyed a great, super tender and juicy filet mignon, sides (Mac n cheese) and appetizer (beef carpaccio) were good too, so was the attentive staff and the vaccine status check at the entrance.
If you’re on a budget, this might not be the best place for you (maybe the lunch option I have yet to try could be something), but given that NYC is expensive anyway, why not pay a bit more and visit this great restaurant? (And maybe skip the appetizer or the side, portions are good, I don’t think you will leave hungry)

Well prepared steak, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Although it could be warmer to touch upon serving, the taste was phenomenal. Service could have been more attentive, as I had to wait 20 mins for the server to come by to server me another drink. Otherwise, a great eat and something definitely worth stopping for.

Classy "Frank Sinatra" styled old world steak house offers up huge family style sides and perfectly cooked steaks. The wait staff was extremely attentive and we spent almost 2 hours there enjoying our amazing meal. Save room for dessert. The fluffy and Light cheesecake did not disappoint.

First impression is stereotype stake house. Including the waitstaff who look like the should be wintering in FL. Looks are decieving to and they are delightful. Steaks are well prepared, but just a little piecy compared to so other venues. I will definitely come back. Bone is serloin was great. Don't get the baratta.

Loved this restaurant and the bar was fun! Our bartender Josh was great! Loved the food and atmosphere!

What a joke. I've eaten at fine restaurants all over the world. Let me say I was insulted at the treatment my family and i received at this restaurant. We ordered our food. Everything was ok. Got our drinks. Some mediocre steak tartar. An average salad. Then the main coarse. I have to say my dover sole was excellent but my wife's prime rib was underwhelming to say the least. My sons lamb chops were way over cooked. By the time his meal was taken back and redone. My wife and I were finishing up. The mgr said he would take care of my sons meal. The bill came and the chops were still there. They had been removed and then put back on the bill. The waiter went to fix the bill then the mgr came back and said we don't do that and i had misunderstood him. Realy! What does we'll take care of it mean. Cook it properly like we should have. After embarrassing himself and his establishment the mgr fixed the bill by this time what could have been a nice meal was a joke. Will not return here or in Vegas. By the time all this had played out we were late to our play. Very unprofessional and rude. YOU Can tell by the lack of response from the owners they don't care. Go somewhere else

The steak was excellent, but the sides were boring and way overpriced (you get a lot though, I would suggest splitting a side with someone). The service was up and down, with a bit of that "so you know what you want or what? " New York spirit; we got asked for our drink order the second we sat down, plus there wasn't even a drink menu on the table. I expect that energy in line at my local bagel joint, not a place like this. Besides that little hiccup, we were well attended by the staff.

Food was great, service was great but it was crowded with absolutely no room for social distancing.

Fantastic dining experience. The waiters are true professionals. The atmosphere is amazing great historic pics on the walls throughout. The meat locker at the entrance is breath taking. My fave restaurant in NYC. INCREDIBLE!
