Gallea's Florist & Greenhouse, Pittsford NY

Perhaps the two rudest women in the world work/own this place. I was trying to work with the floral department for a special order. These women, Amy and Sue miscommunicated everything and instead of trying to make things right, they blamed me for their mistakes. When I went back to try to get reorganized Amy literally turned her back to me said she was too busy to help me and walked away. I have a problem with being overly nice to people and they took full advantage of this. They kept changing the price they quoted and were all around horrible. My family and I had been customers for decades and now I tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place. Also, they are wildly overpriced.

My sister has sent us beautiful holiday arrangements from Gallea's for yeas. A business colleague's Mother passed away a few days ago. I had Gaellea's send an arrangement to him and his family. He e-mailed me with this: "The flowers are absolutely beautiful! " He sent pics, too. I would recommend Gallea's to anyone who wants to send something truly "beautiful" to anyone. They are first rate.

This seems like a great garden store but we wandered around the place for 20 minutes without finding any employees to help us or to purchase anything. We gave up and left.

I was gifted a bonsai from Gallea's and I called to ask for some advice. The woman who picked up continually interrupted me saying "just take it somewhere else and ask them, " offering no advice whatsoever on caring for my tree. Clearly they don't want customers to shop there, otherwise they wouldn't suggest going elsewhere.

I used to shop here for indoor and outdoor plants and would recommend it to others. They had great variety and knowledgeable employees. Had.
I haven't had occasion to go there in a few years. Yesterday I was very disappointed. Much of it comes down to the place being a disorganized mess. The employees seemed skilled at blocking aisles (Really, just pull the cart to the side parallel to the tables so people can walk past. You might be amazed at the results.) but not particularly knowledgeable about plants in general or what they had specifically. There are better alternatives which I went to after visiting them.

Ordered a bonsai tree delivery for my boyfriend while he was at work pretty last minute for our anniversary and they were able to accommodate. He called me crying because of how beautiful and thoughtful of a gift it was. I haven’t seen it myself yet but a reaction like that warrants a great review! I hope to purchase from them again and see their store in person. Thank you so much!

Awesome and cute garden store. The people there and owner are so helpful and knowledgeable!

This is my favorite place to come and buy my interior and exterior plants.
Not only can you buy live plants they also offer a florist and a sell different items not found in the box store.
They also offer a service that I have never seen before, they baby sit your plants when you are going out of town.
Amazing job keeping us happy enjoying our plants.

Went here in search of some houseplants, in the way back room found quite a few. All were extremely overpriced! Did not end up purchasing anything, and likely won't be back due to the high cost.

Joe (owner) is very helpful in answering gardening and indoor plant queries. He took care in repotting my orchids and giving me advice on other plant concerns. The staff are very nice, including his wife, dogs, and cat.

I went towards the end of January.so I know that is probably off season for them, but I had to walk around for about 15 minutes to find the pots I needed because the layout of the place didn't make much sense, then another 15m just to find someone to cash me out. I felt eerily alone in the whole place. The cashier was definitely pleasant to me and the transaction went well. I did get exactly what I needed, so no real complaints, I just couldn't shake the feeling I was trespassing since the place felt so abandoned.
Their dog was around too, which was great. Seems like quite the sweetie.

Simply fantastic! This was my first time ordering here - I typically use a few different places around Rochester depending on availability and delivery window, but I was not disappointed! They have won a customer for life. Incredibly quick and responsive. All requests and instructions followed to a T. Beautiful arrangement well worth every penny!

I made a quick decision a few weeks ago as I drove past Gallea’s to call and inquire about Adirondack chairs and then quickly turned around to see what they had.
Great Decision! Fabulous assortment of different colors and 2 color combinations and they were on sale at a great price! I’m loving them as they are so comfortable and my glass
Of wine sits perfectly on the arm rest!
But I also picked up a bottle of Grandma’s Secret spot remover which I was skeptical but today I removed a huge amount of white chalk paint from my favorite dark blue jeans in less than 10 minutes! Every home should have this on hand as I have thrown out clothes in the past with dried paint!
Gallea’s is a wonderful place to stroll through for many various items and I’m so glad I did!

Took my mom to shop for flowers and we had to deal with a very rude owner. He was very disrespectful to the customers and his employees. We will never go back.

Best plant store in Rochester. Owners are great and the staff are helpful. Great gifts. They also had a great garden seed clearance sale in the off season. I dig the place. They also have a great selection of hard to get and unknown plants.

Excellent service! Flowers were ordered and delivered same day. They were beautiful and vibrant. I was very pleased.
