Collectibles Store GameStop reviews
20Watch out when you go in there they will try to put a warranty on a $2 game one is not necessary they do shady practices like that in there. I recommend just buying online, mercari or go to game Xpress on Fordham road.
Absolutely horrible customer service. Was given an attitude by a man on the phone who claimed to be manager. I find this sort of horrendous treatment to be almost synonymous with the brand GameStop. Complete incompetence and a total lack of understand of the very basics of doing their job while also just mistreating customers left and right. I look forward to a day when these are out of business and local game shops run by people who actually care about their communities and understand the games market take their place. Hopefully this so-called “manager” is removed from their position or reprimanded until they learn the very basics of how to treat people and how buying and selling games works.
They need to teach them how to use the phone. I called to ask about stock on a product and before I got my entire question out he said no and hung up.
Today 7/23 I tried calling this store no one picked up. I looked online for a item that this store had available. After calling more than 20 times I literally decided to go to this location from 86 street. When I arrived the employee that was there was very rude and looked like he didn’t want to help me at all worst customer service. If the employee didn’t want to work why go to work and treat customers like garbage so I took my money to target.never shopping here again
Very good inventory but the staff can be lazy at times, act like it a problem when you want to do trade ins, want to work at their own pace
This Gamestop is all the way in the lower level (basment area) of Bronx Terminal Market. Unless you are from the area and have gone to each level you probably wouldn’t know it was there. This is a smaller gamestop location but is fully stocked always and super quiet.
One of the few GameStops, in the Bronx that I frequent. I have never had an issue with the games/consoles I've purchased, and the employees are always friendly and willing to help out. Whether it be suggestions, advice, or questions; they're employees are always helpful.
Workers know a good amount about games and will help you pick if you are unsure of what to get.
Excellent customer service. I was happy to see they still had a lot of wii games, but some a little overpriced.
Well stocked place get gift cards and funko pops. Great selection of games consoles and accessories
Bad customer service never give you the original game that you purchase there is always a copy and an excuse as to why you can't get the original
Horrible customer service, and how is it that if they close at 8 pm why is the door closed at 7: 50? And then tell me from behind the door there's nothing they can do about it. Why doesn't the corporate offices fire all these lazy employees and give the jobs to people that apply for the position, because anyone would be better than most of the staff they have now.
Even with a low staff for a small space best store in the district hands down I don't care about the rest
Everytime I call, no one answers the phone. I went to buy uncharted 4 a few weeks back, they told me they were out of hard copies. I didnt want a digital copy, so I waited around the store seeing games. I asked when they were going to get hard copies before I left.not only did they find a hard copy, they had a full drawer of hard copies of the game. After my next pre-order, never going back.
Disgusted.customer service is a -25 on a 1- 10.melissa "manager" (had no name tag) has made gamestop loose another customer.replace her.
The have pre owned games that don't work and they give broken game case's. Also the employees are also eating well attending customers. There is only one person working and to purchase a game and Wait takes about 45 minutes. Not the best place to shop for games.
There's always only 1 person behind the register. Line takes for ever. And they neverrrrrrrr answer the phone. This is the only gamestop that neverrrrrrrr answers the phone. It's absurd.
Customer service isn't good, I avoid going here and do most transactions online or at pretty much any other store than here
Best customer service at this GameStop! Adrianna and Mike are excellent managers who put their customers first. Never have I been treated with so much respect and patience when wanting to make a purchase and had questions. Very accommodating store who cares about their customers.recommend this store to all gamers and GameStop users.
You call you call and you call and no one ever answers but I call any other game stop store they answered on the second ring you in on the first ring the store never answers
