They never answer there phone when you call no matter the day or the time you can walk in store call them with noone in store and they wont answer the phone if your calling them

Wild! I pre-ordered a switch and Mario Kart from the website for pick up at the store. When I go to pick it up, the guy behind the counter hands it to me and says "alright, you're good. " When I asked for a bag, he said they were out of all bags and started trying to ignore me. When I tell him that I don't have a bag, he just shrugs and keeps ignoring me.

So, he handed me a $400 console and game that I'm supposed to walk around Atlantic Mall and Barclay in my hand to get home. Yeah, suffice it to say, this is my last time shopping at this store. As someone who was a lifelong gamestop customer, it is very clear now why they are going out of business.

I don't know what is about this store, but all of my worst GameStop experiences over the years have happened in this one. I've had plenty of great experiences with employees at other GameStops in the city, but this location is something else.

A few years back, I came in looking for a white DualShock 4. The employee told me they didn't have any. I asked about various other colors also on display- red, blue, etc. They didn't have those either. I asked if they were planning on getting any of them back in stock soon. The employee said no. I asked why they have the empty boxes on display, then. He said: "Advertising. " I asked what they were advertising, when these are products that they don't sell and don't plan to get back in stock. When the man didn't have any answer to that, I left and bought the controller elsewhere.

Somehow, yesterday surpassed that anecdote. I came in looking to buy a game that was shown online as $17.50, with four copies available in this GameStop. I found a copy on the shelf, but the sale sticker had been removed, so it just showed the original $70 price. I asked an employee whether the price was $17.50 or $70. Dismissively, he said $70, and that the price must have gone up since I looked online yesterday, or maybe I was looking at the used price. I took out my phone, he looked at the store computer, and we both saw that the price was definitely $17.50, right now, for a new copy. "Well, if it's cheaper online you should buy it online, " he told me. I told him it wasn't an online-exclusive price and the reason I came in was to get it without paying for shipping, since the website said I could pick it up in store and that the store has four copies. The employee ignored me and kept saying I should buy it online. (At no point did he scan the game to see what price the system would ring it up for, by the way.) So I said OK, I'll buy the game right now, on my phone, and you can give me the game. He begrudgingly said I could, but that it would take several hours. I reminded him that a copy was right there, in his hand, but I gave up, bought the game right there on my phone, and came back later to pick it up.

I've never seen a business that wanted my money any less than this GameStop, and it's bizarre. I'm not going to bother coming back here unless it's to pick up something that I paid for online.

This store also had a loop of game trailers from 2021 on the TV, and a security camera feed so blurry it wouldn't have helped if anyone needed to review tapes in the store, so I don't know if anyone cares about what's going on with this location.

These people must be running a scam here or something. I bought a vbucks gift card for my nephew and the card was never activated. I call the store and noone picks up the phone. I’m trying to call their customer service number and also nobody picks up

Lmao, how are you runing a business at this point? I came all the way from crown height, I called 18 time no one picked up. When I get there I stay outside and tried to call again to witnessing them just looking at the phone, the thing that hot me more mad they don't even have whay I was looking for. They couldn't just pick up the phone so I wouldn't have to travel all the way there smh.

I like this game stop, they have everything and the staff are very friendly and are willing to always help you out with anything. Definitely recommend this spot.

This gamestop has the worst workers working here I wish people all over can hire kind professional people instead of these type of lazy rude grown kids don't come here unless you see the manager on duty you will have the best customer service from him he's respectful and kind and will answer any of your questions.

I come to the GameStop and I look it up on the website it says I could get 120$ for the games and the old guy says $20 for four games

Well lit. Everything was well layed out easy to locate. The people working that day were super helpful and amazing although it didn't what I had set out to purchase still it was a great experience.

Great service the guy was nice he was able to to fix my old 3ds battery today I am very happy will go back again (ps I have to order my own 3ds battery to bring to him to fix.)

I went to GameStop to sell my PS4 and several games for store credit. Jose helped me out and was very patient.

Store associates are super welcoming and patient and honestly deserve a raise. I usually go after work and the store can be packed, but they always are willing to help me out with my gaming and collectibles purchases.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Worst gamestop I have ever been to. Been charged protection fees on games when they never asked. By far my worst experience was buying Super Nintendo Games that turned out to be counterfeit. They didnt even bother testing the games out to see if they were the correct games. The person who traded the SNES games in swapped the boards out with NBA and NHL games. I will never shop at this store again.

They need to change the person who charges. It takes a long time to get paid. I went for one thing and I had to wait more than 30 minutes because I was talking to only 1 client.

First time shopping here. It's okay. Has a wide variety of accessories. Bought one game here.

I'm a first time console buyer and Ive never been so impressed with a retail shopping experience. Keon and the staff were approachable, helpful and patient. The atmosphere was friendly. The checkout was efficient. Highly recommend- I was actually searching for Best Buy and I'm so glad I serendipitously found these guys.
