Only one person working in the store and yet he goes out of his way to try to proactively help people

Incredibly good experience finding things here. I ordered something on Home Depot for same-day delivery and they completely flaked on me (big inconvenience). I called Kitchen Plus and the manager told me that they did indeed have the parts I needed. It was actually ~15% cheaper and they helped me verify it was what I needed.

They have a surprising array of home goods here (shower hooks, curtains, trash cans, swiffers, etc.), incredibly useful when moving in.

The best place to shop for all your home good needs. The owner and employees are always nice courteous.

Very Disappointing 2 recent experiences here with both the staff and then the owner.
Prices are different on the items than at the register ($2-3 difference in these cases over 3 weeks). “Too bad” said the staff. The owner argued before finally saying that this (2nd) time he would honor the advertized prices.
But wouldn’t return the opened tape the staff encouraged me to buy that was “exactly the same” as the one they didn’t have. Terrible sales etiquette / “don’t care” attitude which comes with a growing customer base.

It's convenient because it's close by. The flip side is that I wish there were more variety/selection. That said, it looks like they have expansion plans.

Went in to buy rubber bands, shop assistant gave me some for free. I don't think this is the right word, but the store is.cozy?

It's a beautiful and necessary addition to the neighborhood. Small mishap with billing, but that's okay. Service was friendly and absolutely wide selection for household needs PLUS hardware. I was able to make copies of keys in color. The votive candles and holder I got there today as well! I will be back!

This is an edited review: After an initial interaction that was surprising the owner of the store reached out to me and made things right. I appreciated the kind and non-defensive communication and the efforts made to make me feel like I want to go back to this store, which I have since done.

It is a cute little store that should be a great resource for the neighborhood.

These guys REALLY care! They’ll not only help you find what you need but are willing to go the distance. These kinds of stores will be the places you’ll long for if we continue to solely shop big box stores. God bless’m!

Brand new and has a wide range of products from homewares to an extensive range of hardware equipment. A great local go-to in Long Island City.

The staff is so nice and helpful. They are really well stocked for all kitchen needs. Decent prices too.

Great hardware store had everything I needed. Owner was very helpful I needed parts to fix a garden hose. He helped me to find 2 pipe clamps and a 1/2 inch copper coupling went back to work to fix the hose and It worked great. This hardware /home store is a wonderful store to have in the area. If you need anything check this place out.

They never open on time! I am standing outside right now at 10: 21am and still not one is here. It is a great option for the locals here in LIC but make sure to come after 11: 00am! Don’t trust the working hours! Also - their phone number does not work - no one answers and no voicemail.

If you need something for your house and it's not for major construction this is the best place in LIC. Great staff and very helpful, reasonable prices, and local biz! Very happy they're around

Great store with friendly and professional staff!
I visited today to get a few items I needed for cooking and baking. The store is well stocked, nicely organized and they have almost anything you need from cooking and cleaning products, to home decor and scented candles. The lady at the desk, Sanda was super friendly, and she took her time to guide me in choosing the right items. They also sell masks, which I think is very thoughtful for the community. So grateful to have this store nearby, and not having to travel too far to buy household products. Thank you KPM and thank you Sanda!
