Gantry Park Landing, Queens NY

They still did not give me my security deposit back, even though I moved out last March.
Also, they never answered me back.
Please, give me my money back.

I've lived in 2 units since 2016. I've had no major issues and have really enjoyed the building, staff, and neighborhood. Doormen and porters are all happy to help and know the residents. Repair requests are responded to timely and completely. Has one of the nicest gyms in the area and is never crowded. Peloton is available 95% of the time, even before Covid. Roof is great and is also rarely crowded. Haven't had any issues with other residents, and find everyone respectful. I find the units to be reasonably quiet.

If I could give this building less than one star I would. The only positive thing about this Mgmt company and the building is a small handful of doormen and handymen. They do not care about their tenants and are money hungry. It’s absolutely sickening. I moved in a month ago and have been trying to switch units for a month due to having irresponsibly loud and disruptive neighbors above me. Again, the Mgmt company and its employees do close to nothing. That’s another thing.you can hear EVERYTHING from all the doors shutting on your floor (they’re like hotel doors where you don’t have a choice but to hear the doors shut) to your neighbors walking and talking upstairs. Anyway, I’ve been trying to switch units and the communication from Mgmt is sickening and unacceptable. They’re forcing me to stay in my unit for eleven more months through the end of my lease. Additionally when I moved in, electrical outlets didn’t work. I could ask any worker a question and they’d look at me like a deer in head lights, and they would never even dare to ask how they could help/offer to help me find an answer. Don’t move here, save yourself the headache. Also.notice how the last review before mine was from a year ago (at least in my screen that’s what shows.)

This building is very good. I lived there for 2 years and enjoyed my stay very much. Everybody on the team is great and does a wonderful job. Apartments are clean, everything functions very well and if minor maintenance is required management reacts quickly and fix everything.

Amenities like rooftop or game room are awesome. Gym has everything you need and they offer free yoga there.

They do take care of their residents and make you feel very comfortable here!

Incredibly friendly building personnel in a great area. Always very kind and accommodating and the location overall is great and very accessible, especially by the 7 train. Dog friendly is also a huge plus

I and my wife absolutely loved the building, the amenities, the way that the building was managed, the way the front door staff Joe, Pete and Eddie interacted with the tenants. The apartment has a great gym, clean and comfortable, great maintenance and the people here are nice and friendly. The landlord representative Nancy Shun is always willing to go the extra mile and help with anything she can. Also, the building manager Leo always was attentive to the tenants needs. The neighborhood and its proximity to restaurants, subway only two blocks, bakery and supermarket within a block makes this a very desirable apartment. If we hadn't been transferred to another city for work, we would have never left. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends

Lived here for two years and loved it. The staff really went out of their way to be accommodative to me (and I can be difficult lol), which sets it apart from the larger neighboring buildings.

Lived here 2 years and will miss it tremendously. The staff are friendly, responsive, hard-working. The building itself has great amenities which we used on a weekly basis. The rooftop has amazing views and is great for guests, the gym is never too crowded, has enough equipment. Other residents were also very nice, no issues with neighbors. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend to any LIC resident.

We’ve lived here for almost five years and have had a great experience. The building’s staff works tirelessly to keep every aspect running as smoothly as possible. Common areas are so spotless that it almost seems they’re never used (they are). Everyone is friendly and the location is super convenient. I’ve lived in nine apartments in NYC, and this one is hands down the best.

My husband and I have had a wonderful experience living at Gantry Park Landing! We've been here for over a year and have been really pleased with all aspects of the property. The doormen are so friendly and professional. They always drop what they are doing to open the door when I'm pushing my baby in the stroller. They are so efficient with package/dry cleaning/food deliveries. There is also package pick-up for ups/fedex/usps. It's so close to the 7 train and the waterfront park (which has recently expanded). The gym, yoga room, game room, and lounge are also really great amenities. Highly recommend!

Event manager Melissa is a wonderful person and she puts together great events for kids and adults. We can always find coffee or wine around.

Ive been living here for over 4 years, on our second apartment. The building is the best in the neighborhood in that it is close to the subway, has great amenities and isn't overly large like some of the other nearby choices. Scott and his team are the best in the business at keeping the building in tip top shape and responding to tenants' requests. I give the building the highest level of endorsement.

It's alright. My friend lives here and I've dog-sat for him. Door men are nice. Gym and rooftop are nice. But ceilings and some of framing is showing cracks, which is surprising for a building that's just a few years old.

I just changed my one star review to a five stars. Previously GPL was extremely restrictive with their dog policies but I now have in writing that they allow a four dog max into the building. I'm the owner of Gimme Paw Dog Walking, the largest (and best!) dog walking service in LIC. Very glad to hear they are loosening up their dog rules a bit:)
