Clothing Store Gap reviews
7The best clothes that feet well and last long. Usually kids grow out of them before the clothes wear out.
Very nice store. Everything was clean and in its place. The merchandise was easy to find and well labeled. The service was great. The worker was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about sizes and colors. She knew where everything I needed was and was eager to help out. The store was well lit and packed with lots of shoppers. I truly love the cross county location and definitely recommend this spot. Plenty of out door parking as well!
GAP is the ultimate gay men's shop, but this location only sells the basic Gay And Proud - GAP current season items. The staff is extremely immature and disgruntled, but their management addresses all complaints on the spot and makes the average guest experience worthwhile. If you need basic GAP items shop here, if you need exclusives and up-to-date GAP items, head over to 5th Avenue in Manhattan. If you can deal with the male and female employees that act worst than The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and are undercover on the down low Yonkers citizens that probably have bad credit that live in rooms as a home then shop here, if not shop at a GAP elsewhere. If you are a bad b*tch, do not shop here with their miserable employees because you will not receive a good guest experience, unless the store manager helps you.
Looked at many different clothing stores in the Cross County Shopping Center for a pair of men's Flip-flops, & could not find them at all. The last place I was going to look into was Gap. If the Flip-flops were not there then I'm heading home. Very happy I found men's Flip-flops there, & the exact color I love. Green. Green, & a very good price. Yay!
This Gap was one of the more spacious stores. There was few customers there at the time I was there.
I've been a GAP customer for 32 years. My fondest memories of the GAP is taking my mother to buy me clothes. So yesterday 1/31/22) I'm making one of my usual GAP visits, at 8pm and I see three employees by the front door; and I look at the store hours and it states that the store closes at 8pm. Therefore, I walked away and went to another store. Ten minutes afterwards my girlfriend calls me and tells me that she's in the GAP. Strange because the store hours reflect otherwise.
I turn back and enter the GAP and I ask at what time do they close? And what seems to be a Hispanic lady states 9pm, and I stated that the store hours should be updated on the front door. Her response was you should have "GOOGLE IT". Wrong response! Sometimes certain customers are treated at FACE VALUE, because I'm sure that if I was a different HUE, she wouldn't have expressed herself that way. More so, right before leaving I asked the same lady if they had anything on sale and her response was "HONESTLY WE HAVE ANYTHING ON SALE. "
*Somethings you just can't make up! *
Two things stand out;
1. They let a buying customer/loyal customer walkway after he looked at the store hours. No one standing by the front had the decency to beckon that the store was open. How many customers haven't they've lost by not changing the store hours. The GAP isn't in the business of losing customers.
2. The lady that responded (which seem to be the closing manager) cared more about closing the store than making a profit.
Sincerely,
A loving GAP customer! I wouldn't like to see one of the most iconic brands become instinct but with representation like the one at 33 Mall Walk Ste, GAP will continue to lose.
I really like the Gap in Cross County, the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I didnt buy anything and want to wait till I do. I'd rather hold of till I purchase and try on some clothing to see if they actually have form fitting clothes for my body type. But yes, this Gap has a really good selection of clothing from what I saw. Looking forward to shopping there soon.
