Garden Ob/Gyn at Massapequa reviews
21Everything ran perfect the wait was not long and I was in and done in 1 hour - they were very thorough.
This was originally a review of one location, but then I was shuffled to another. Edit 2&3 are directly related to Massapequa, but the inconsistent care was evident at both branches.
Garden obgyn does not care about my needs, will not answer my call in the shortest time possible. Hours change constantly or are listed wrong online. Does not answer questions on patient portal unless an appointment is booked with comment.
Edit: I called again to ask for response to my patient portal question. The customer service rep had to call the lab. CSR came back and said they were going to call my regular office and merge me in. CSR came back and said the office manager was driving and would return my call. OM called, we made an appointment for today. I received multiple texts and email confirmations for my appointment. Just now the office called me to ask if I could come in early as the DR had to leave. Reception asked if I could be there in an hour after I told her it takes me an hour to get there from work. They wanted to move up my appointment by 4 hours on an hours notice and I would have had to leave work early with no notice to my supervisors. I had to reschedule for the weekend. It is very frustrating.
Edit2: They just texted me to reschedule my weekend appointment. Not even being bothered with a phone call. Completely unprofessional. I had to call and explain the situation/why I needed the appointment. They could not accommodate that day and they made an appointment with another DR for Monday.
Edit3: Finally had my appointment and had to explain my whole situation over again to new people including a new OM (due to being sent to a second location) and the DR. Notes and conversations with the original OM were not on file. So I had to struggle through explaining my patient portal inquiry for the umpteenth time to a new group of people. The medical assistant falsely told me that all the information I needed was in the patient portal (before the dr came in). The doctor had no knowledge of my chart and had to correct multiple assumptions when he did actually open it. He also confirmed that my results were not available as the MA suggested they were. They ultimately had to redo a test from November. The original OM said that they would not bill me as it was their error, but since I was rescheduled to a new location they had no knowledge or record of that conversation. I then had to call the first OM, who was out of office, to have her explain to reception how to code the procedure. Literally I had to hand over my personal phone so this practice could communicate with itself. They ended up deciding they would sort it out later and I was not responsibleat that time for a copay. It was incredibly frustrating to experience all this.
TLDR: Go somewhere else. Garden OBGYN does not care about your health or about you as an individual.
Love love Dr. Yassa, even convinced my BFF to go see him. He listens and gives the best care; you can tell that he actually cares. I’ve been going to Garden for years, and this is the first time I actually feel heard.
It was such a stress free atmosphere and they did a great job removing nexplanon. I am 100% going here from now on.
DR ARE ALYWAS TAKES HER TIME
SHE IS ALYWAS GIVING THE RIGHT
ANSWER TO MY QUESTION EVEN SO
I" M A PAIN SOMETIMES. SHE CARES
FOR HER PATIENCE.
Dr. Sarah was terrific. She introduced me to the gene testing. I loved her talking in layman's term and I didn't have to wait long for my appointment.
By far the worst office ever, doctors making you take tests that can put your baby at risk. We switched office and requested my wife medical records which took almost a month to get. This is place needs to be closed. So happy with the other office.
Everyone @ the massapequa location Is amazing from the doctors to the nurses to even the receptionist. Thumbs up all the way.
I've been a patient here for more than 10 years. They're great & very thorough. I do recommend them.
*side note*
Have patience because you're going to be in the waiting room for a while. That is their only flaw.
I've been using Garden Ob/Gyn for a few years now, I go th the office in Massapequa. The doctors and staff are so friendly and the office is clean and I never have a long wait time. I would recommend them to my friends.
Friendly staff, no wait time (as long as you stick to your appt) soothing music. By far the best OBGYN I've ever been to.
At first I had nothing but great things to say. When I got a referral for an ultrasound after having breast pain I NEVER heard back from anyone. I called, left messages, but nothing. When I finally got in touch they said they didn’t have my results despite radiology faxing them over TWICE. I’m in pain and anxiously waiting to see if my ultrasound can give me any information into what may be causing the pain. Have more respect for your patients.
When I moved out west I was looking for a good Gyn and came across Garden Obgyn I've been coming here for about 2 years now and have had 0 complaints.
The best experience I’ve had at an ob/gyn. All of my questions were answered fully and the entire staff was friendly! Would 100% recommend
Well I'm beyond the child bearing years, so the only thing that would give them 5 stars to me is having days for 'mature' woman so we don't have to wait for all the moms to be. Curtious staff and knowledgeable doctors. Clean and welcoming office.
The office and staff were very professional and friendly. I've seen several doctors at different locations and they have always answered all questions thoroughly and felt like they really cared about any issues I was having
Professional and very kind and friendly staff. Made a difficult experience much more comfortable. I highly recommend!
My fience went there because she has pain by her ovaries and discomfort and her first visit with Dr Gardner was very good and she gave my girl some blood tests so my girl went back today and had the worst experience EVER WITH Dr mestre-Didley, We been trying to figure out what's going on and she was soo unprofessional with my girl she will never go back.
Dr was thorough, professional, and kind.staff was pleasant. Office was clean. Wait was a little long but you don’t mind because the care you receive makes up for the wait!
This is the first obgyn that i actually dont mind going to. They are friendly, pretty quick and attentive. I lovve the doctors and would definitely recommend this office.
