Gastroenterologist Dr. Rajiv Bansal, New Hyde Park

I cannot express enough how cared for I felt today, when I was examined in this office. Avigayil is the PA that saw me as an emergency, and she took the time to really listen and explain what options that I have. I have been to many offices in my life, and I, myself, am in the medical field. Avigayil was extraordinary at what she does and I will highly recommend coming here.

I highly recommend Dr. Bansal, extremely good staff, Colonoscopy was over before i knew it.if you need to get one Dr. Bansal is the doctor.

From the moment I entered the office, I could see why my GP recommended Dr. Bansal’s practice. Everyone was professional and understanding. Due to personal issues, I had to reschedule appointments and they were accommodating. Went through my first endoscopy with them and they walked me through it and treated me with the utmost care. Personable and knowledgeable - the kind of combination that makes for a great doctor.

Dr. Bansal saved my life! I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. What a kind, caring, smart, and WONDERFUL doctor he is! I went to many gastroenterologists and NONE compare to his expertise. I suffered with stomach ulcers for 10+ years. I was diagnosed at 19 and am now 32 years old. NOONE could figure out WHY they were there. Last February I had such a bad flare I lost close to 15 lbs and weighed 95 lbs. I could not hold any food down. It was scary! Another doctor told me stomach surgery was my ONLY option.until I came to Dr. Bansal. He did an endoscopy and found Chron's Disease in my stomach! So for 10+ years I was not being treated correctly by past gastros. I WISH I found him sooner, but I am grateful I have him now. Since then he does dilations on me every few months and started me with another wonderful doctor to treat my Chron's and I can happily say I am now 4 months pregnant with my first baby! ALL THANKS TO DR. BANSAL! He told me not to worry, that we would fix this and he treated me as part of his family. I will be FOREVER grateful to him for giving me my greatest joy this year. Past doctors told me this would never be possible. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU DR. BANSAL! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE!

Have been a patient of Dr. Bansal for over 13 years. He’s a gifted diagnostician with a great bedside manner. I’m so comfortable with him that my daughter has also become a patient. I love his staff! They are so kind and helpful. My whole family highly recommends Dr. B!

He is by far the best Dr in the world. I was sick back in 2009. I went to several doctors Nobody could figure out what was wrong with me. I lost over 30lbs. He did a ultrasound endoscopy and found a carcinoid tumor growing into my pancreas. He recommended Dr Brennan from Sloan Kettering that performed a whipple procedure. It has been a long road I still go to my annual checkups. I really feel that if Dr Bansal did not find this I would not be a live today. Thank you Dr Bansal I will be forever grateful

I must admit I was nervous too see a new doctor especially because I’ve never experienced anything of gastro related. I must say from the very moment i walked in the front desk staff was welcoming, and so kind. The PA and Dr Bansal were the best individuals I ever met in the medical field. They were extremely patient and so understanding. Took their time to understand and take in every detail of my symptoms and really show their want in helping me feel like myself again. Staff was very professional and supportive in helping me understand procedure processes and having a smooth system to help set up appointments, etc. Wonderful service!

Thank you to a wonderful & amazing team at Dr. Bansal's office, from the front desk, to nurse Marisol, Dr. Chen (anesthesiologist), Joanie (nursing assistant) & Dr. Bansal. The Whole team is great. When my son was anxious before his procedure, they were able to put him at ease & relax by talking & reassuring him everything will be fine. After the procedure, Dr. Bansal patiently explained & answered all of my son's questions. I would recommend Dr. Bansal & his team for anyone looking for a GI doctor.
