This is a super clean office that has the great Dr. Hanna Hindy. It's a huge office on the 7tj floor with two restrooms, a huge waiting area and a self check-in kiosk for new patients. Follow-up patients check in via a clipboard.

I have been suffering with stomach/bowel issues for over 20 years. Over that time I lost count of how many doctors I visited and tests taken. I gave up hope of ever living a normal, pain free life. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Quainoo a few months back and on my first visit I knew something was different. She took the time to listen to me, asked questions nobody else has & worked with me on finding the root of my problems. She was patient, kind, available, caring and extremely knowledgeable. For the first time since I can remember I am now practically pain free and feel like I have a new lease on life. No words I say can express my gratitude towards her.

The entire staff at Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn are welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this medical group for top notch doctors and staff that consistently go above and beyond to provide quality patient care with genuine empathy.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rahmani at Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn since moving to Bay Ridge over 7 yrs.ago. Upon my first visit with Dr. Rahmani, I felt listened to and validated. He took a totally different approach then previous GI doctors and continues to adjust my treatment plan as needed to ensure I maintain a functioning GI system. Under Dr. Rahmani’s care I have found the help I needed, and I am profoundly grateful.

This is the one of the worse medical office in New York. I have been here 5 times in different times of the day and different seasons. And always you have to wait in general line for 30-60 or even 90 minutes. Medical service is not only a qualifications of the doctors. It’s general management as well. People who have appointment they have work or other important personal situations. I can’t understand why you are making more appointments for the same time than doctor can complete?
Beside that, doctors and medical stuff are friendly and professionals.

This review is in regards to Dr. Badalov. He told me that there is no cure for what I have, and said that surgery would be the only way to get some relief. He put me through so many examinations. I did the colonoscopy prep and fasted before the day of procedure as It was putting me through so much pain. After the colonoscopy procedure in the recovery room he said to me that there wasn't much results to announce since I didn't do an effective job at the colonoscopy prep but I did EVERYTHING that was instructed for me to do. Then he scheduled me for an appointment to talk about results, and I waited almost 2 HOURS! Just to have a 2 minute conversation about test results, and treatment plans. Then I get a call from the office that he wants to do ANOTHER colonoscopy in a month. I know that he is not trying to treat my conditions, he's trying to get me to come in as many times so that he can make his dues. The doctors in here just give you their version of the treatment without hearing out the patient. I have another doctor now, but I feel like I'm going through the same process all over again. They pressure you to have these examinations. It's like enough already, just tell me what I have. What medication/alternative medicine I can use to remedy the problem, and just let me go.

Update: I've seen another doctor since Dr. Badalov. Dr. Rahmani seems more genuine. His method of prescribing medication is really bizarre. He presides me medication that he knows my insurance can't afford. So why bother? Just to have me go back and forth with the insurance. I also have to talk with the medical coordinator Nicole who I swear she means well, but she gives up faster that I do. She even told me to follow up with my insurance "because I'm more on top of it then she is" What? You want me to do your job for you? Everytime these doctors say talk to Nicole I'm like "oh f*ok, not her" I'm sorry Nicole, I don't think medical coordinator is your forte.

Like I said about these doctors. They don't want to treat you long term. And for the ones that do, they just want to prolong the treatment. They know how go treat you, but either we're too lazy to cure ourselves or they know they could get away with prolonging your treatment.

Don't even get me started with the wait time. You WILL wait 45 minutes to an hour. The receptionists are kind, and that's good. Its just the wait time is awful. We're not all waiting for the same doctors. What's the hold up? Sitting next to miserable sick people just like me in a waiting room is depressing as hell.

Do yourself a favor. Eat better, get fit. SLEEP early. You don't want this to be the rest of your life. A TRUE doctor wouldn't want you to suffer. A TRUE doctor would explore all non-invasive options before considering other measures of treatments. A True doctor would recommend certain vitamins and supplements (with medications if needed) to get you back on your feet.

If you were to visit this place. Do your research and make SURE the doctor you're going to see is worth the long wait time.

Why do I need a follow up to go over results that we went over post endoscopy? Sounds like you’re milking my insurance.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Rahmani! I have had need to be through the suite of procedures Dr. Rahmani offers, and I can say with experience that you cannot be in better hands.
