Impossible to get an appointment. Called in October, got an appt.for April. Then they pushed it back until July.

The entire staff is always so nice and friendly. I can't say that these are the most comfortable topics to deal with or talk about, but everyone here always puts you at ease. Dr. Kunze is friendly and always answers all my questions. The phone and desk personnel always take their time to help and give me all the info I need (and it's never been wrong). I've never felt rushed or nervous here. Highly recommended.

I was the driver for a family member having a colonoscopy. When the office called to confirm the day before, they gave me completely inaccurate information about the drop-off and pick-up procedures (even the time of the appt they told me was apparently wrong). When I arrived, they were rude to me for having the wrong information and I had to renegotiate my whole schedule. Be prepared for that.

Recent emergency procedure by Dr. Kunze. He has been so kind and reassuring as has his staff. Dr Kunze has even called me at home and on weekends to check on me. This has reaffirmed my faith and trust in a doctor. Highly recommend! Thank you!

I have been going since 2014-15. Numerous procedures and appointments with Dr. Parisian.all have been fantastic. Her staff is great too. Some of these comments sound like they don’t allow people to have bad days, or consider that mistakes happen. I’ve recommended this place to many people. Dr. Wilmont discovered my father’s cancer and got him on the right track. Dr. Parisian discovered my celiacs disease and to this day helps my actively with IBS. She also keeps track of my need for early colon cancer screenings. An overall great facility with great and compassionate staff. Out of the large number of staff I’ve encountered one on a bad day.

100% recommend.

I had a great experience with Dr Wilmot. Would refer family and friends to him without hesitation!

Dr. Sharma has been my gastroenterologist for 27 years. He and his staff have always been professional, kind, welcoming and have put me at ease throughout the years. I have Crohns Colitis, so there have been many colonoscopies, endoscopies, etc.

I was a patient here and told I had acid reflux after a series of tests. The medication was not working and I was horrible pain and other gastro issues. I called three times for three days in a row asking for help and asking what I should do. I only got one call back, and all they did was ask what my symptoms were and said they would call me back. They never did. By the third day I was desperate and went to the hospital. Lo and behold I had an emergency situation with gall stones that had to be operated on right away. I spent 6 days in the hospital, having 2 operations. Had I not gone to the ER I could have ended up much worse than I did. So misdiagnosed, and no return call in a medical crisis and I know they were informed of what happened to me and I have yet to have a call asking how I am 6 weeks later. I will never go there again.

The BEST staff and doctors you could ask for! Everyone I’ve encountered is friendly and really cares about my heath!
The facility is beautiful, reminds me of a chalet more than a medical building.

Agree with comments on the very rude receptionist and poor organization. Long waits on the phone to find out that the first consulting appointment available is 2 months out. Then, most likely another month for a procedure. So, if you have a potentially urgent problem, you wait 3 months? Really?

I went in to get a second endoscopy, two years after my first one. The purpose of this second endoscopy was to see if there had been any healing in the last two years.

The condition I have is chronic and incurable but should improve with treatment.

They called me up and told me the tests say you have this condition, you need to start treatment, as though it was my first endoscopy.

They didn't know that it wasn't a new diagnosis, even though they performed the original testing and I've seen them every 6 months since. When I told them, they had no idea whether the condition has improved or not - which was the point of the endoscopy. Not sure why I had an invasive medical procedure done in order to get no new information whatsoever.

I asked to talk to the doctor, who called me back, opening the conversation by letting me know he was on the way out of the office and didn't have time for many questions.

He also had no idea if I was showing signs of recovery. Apparently they didn't bother to use the standard rating scale to evaluate my biopsies. And he was dismissive of the rest of my questions.

Dr. Parisian saved my life. Honestly. Very kind, caring professional who knows what she is doing. Wendy, despite her inability to get my name right, is very kind and sweet.
Everyone else I have come into contact with is infuriating, rude, demeaning and possibly on auto pilot. From having receptionists broadcast ones entire address or phone number in a crowded waiting room, to having a tech hit you in the arm in her flurry of cleaning the room you’ve just waked into, to the PA that ether can’t remember what what I’ve just said or is repeating it in an attempt to shame me (?) I abhor going and put it off as much as I can.
Something needs to be done about the internal mindset/culture as well as the professionalism displayed. Considering the vulnerability level of the activities and illnesses there, to be treated so coldly is atrocious.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sharma for 15 years and would not trust no other GI MD absolutely. He is kind, takes a great deal of interest in your symptoms, your life and work and is a very, very intelligent, thoughtful MD. Beg, plead, whatever you have to do to get under his care!

Worst office staff I have ever encountered. Phone wait time before speaking to anyone is over 15 minutes. Staff is rude, demeaning, and unprofessional. Dr, Parisien is fantastic but I would never recommend this practice to anyone based on her staff.

Don't bother calling unless you want to be demeaned for asking for information. Multiple doctors and staff there but they made a terrible impression.

I'm a PT of Dr Wilmont, have been for about 3 years. He's a great Dr.very thorough. He's has always taken care of me with great professionalism. Unlike most doctors, he doesn't just throw medication at the proplem and hope it goes away. You sit down and figure out a plan.very happy with my experience with Dr Wilmont and this office.

***** Edit *******

I was referred to wilmot (won't even refer to him as doctor) by my primary. I live in Canandaigua so I opted to see him at his office here. His staff called me a month later with the appointment coming up and told me I had to come to South Clinton or wait even longer for another appointment in Canandaigua. I saw him on September 6th for stomach issues, he suggested " because of my age" I should have a colonoscopy, that was scheduled for November 14th, I received the results 2 weeks later. The letter stated everything was fine and to come back in 3 years for another colonoscopy, nothing was mentioned about my stomach issues. I called twice on December 7th and couldn't get through, after waiting on the phone for 3 minutes I left my message asking for someone to please call me back regarding my stomach issues. As of December 19th still no call back from his office. From the front desk, to the girl who brought me back, wilmot himself and whomever answers his phone they are all rude!

I would not recommend this office, there are plenty of gastroenterologists in Rochester and the surrounding areas. I think he is cocky and doesn't have a care in the world for his patients.

I am a firm BELIEVER in KARMA and some day when he needs a doctor or help KARMA will kick in and maybe he will realize how poorly he treated his patients, and only then hopefully he will realize what an awful doctor he was to people who believed and trusted in him.

**** Edit ******

I received a phone call around 9 am the following morning from Dr. Wilmot after leaving this post. He apologized profusely and stated he always returns his messages, however he stated he never received mine. He seemed very sincere and very apologetic. He had someone from his office call me to make a appointment her name was Jessica, very polite. However talking to her on the phone before when I was trying to get a prescription she seemed like I was wasting her time and rushed me off the phone, this time she was as friendly as can be.

So I'm glad the review helped and Dr. Wilmot at least now knows how his staff is acting, so I'm going to change my stars from 1 to 3 just because he called and apologized. I've never had a doctor do that, so he deserves credit for that!
