Gayle's Broadway Rose reviews
15Poor service, food plentiful but not great. Singing good but long gaps overall not a great experience. Don’t bother much better options out there.
An amazing experience! We had Marc as our server. Wonderful performers! A must experience! Help support Broadway Singers!
It’s such a fun atmosphere! Our server Ben was wonderful! The singing was amazing! I have the buttermilk chicken sandwich and my friend had the french dip.definitely one the of the best sandwiches we’ve had.definitely will be going back when i come to the city again.
Absolutely amazing! Could book a table rather than have to queue for ages. Food was delicious. Servers were so attentive and friendly and their voices were stunning. Such a good evening out
The best dining experience! The servers are fantastic singers and the whole thing is fantastic. We throughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you!
This dinner was one of my favorites during our week in NYC. The website was very easy to book reservations. The wait staff's voices were amazing, invoking a fabulous atmosphere among the patrons. The food & service was great. We even had Gayle come to our table, to thank us for coming in. A hidden treasure for sure
Gayle’s is a must do. It’s a fun restaurant where the service and the talent are best in class 10/10. The food and drinks were equally as good. We had chicken and waffles- the waffle had a savory taste, salmon and mashed potatoes, chicken wings and a tuna melt. It was also super fun to meet Gayle! She’s a gem, and is really on to something! Don’t forget to order a milkshake at the end of your meal. We went The Weeknd before Christmas and It was so fun to hear a mix between Christmas and Broadway and mix in Whitney Houston! The server who sung Oh Holy Night had the entire restaurant crying! An absolutely wonderful night for the young and old!
They really try to get you in and out with an 80 minute time limit on the table. Food was fine, singers were excellent, service was fast.
What a fabulous experience! Waiting staff singing show songs while you eat. Such great fun, and the food was excellent as well!
The performers were very entertaining and made the dining experience extremely entertaining. This is the perfect place if you’re a fan of musical hits. Fun for adults and families!
Outright Tourist Trap.
The establishment is absolute dreadful, ranging from bone dry, bland reheated food, which was served within 5 minutes from ordering, and having a server go round for ‘Additional Tips’ for the performers whilst your trying to make the best out of what has been served.
We were in and out within 30 minutes as they needed to seat a subsequent table notwithstanding the fact that we had a table reserved.
It was my family’s 1st time at Gayle’s Broadway Rose and it was an absolute incredible experience after we went to a show! They are only open a few nights a week for a short period of time so it’s understandable that it’s very busy and there is a 90 minute seat time. We had to wait a little longer than our reservation time but the hostesses were very nice and worked hard to make sure we were sat as soon as possible. The waiters/waitresses/singers were amazing, and the food was even better. My salmon was cooked to perfection. Gayle, herself, went by each table which made the whole dinner experience way more intimate and worth it. Ask for a table in the middle section if it’s available, we sat there and the interaction and view of the singers was great. 100 out of 10 recommend!
Didn’t respond to my resy request and failed to do the right thing. Extremely disappointed in their efforts to do the right thing, made
The reservation a week ago!
Had a reservation and was seated. 20 minutes later I still hadn’t been acknowledged in any way, while the tables around me were having drink orders taken. I went to the check in desk and told them I was leaving and why. There were 3 or 4 staff at the desk. None of them said a word in response to me, so I turned and left.
Let me start by saying I met my wife in musical Theatre and our teacher was a Radio City Rockette. So this was supposed to be a highlight in our NYC trip. While the performers there were top notch I could barely tell. They sat us in the corner in the bar near the door. Our view was blocked during most of our time there. The audio was horrible because we had a single speaker in the corner blaring way above its capabilities. I complained to the hostess stand and your waitress and nothing was really done. If you go insist on sitting in the dining room and do not accept a table in the bar area.
