Atmosphere very pleasant. Food was fair - I ordered pasta w sardines which turned out to be few pieces crumbled sardines over pasta. Not a lot of choices of pasta either. For dessert I ordered tartufo which is a ball of ice cream covered in chocolate- what I got was 1/2 ball of melting ice cream for $15. Rip off. Won’t return

A neighborhood joint like Gennaro cannot survive or even thrive unless it offers nop-notch food and service.
Best Italian in town. You simply cannot go wrong with any dish.

Have been sick for the past 3 days with food poisoning after eating bolognese from here. Serving meat that’s gone bad is unacceptable

Sauce too runny
Overwhelming milk flavour. No salt whatsoever
Wasn’t offered cheese to put on top
I’m a foodie and this one is at the bottom 3 Alfredo dishes I’ve had

Make your way to the Upper West side and join the locals at this longtime- but going- stronger than ever Italian. Always fresh, delicious and unique with an awesome wine list. Tremendous value.

We walked in for an impromptu birthday dinner.the staff wasn't only accommodating but kind and helpful.the food.wow fresh, generous portions amazing. I will return.

Lovely, authentic feeling restaurant. Very large menu and very friendly service. Loved it and will be back! Hard to find cacio e Pepe done right!
