Simply put, Dr. Szmigiel is an artist. The hygienists are fantastic, and the staff could not be more friendly or accommodating.

I am very happy with my new dentist. Its worth the travel to Plattsburgh. Everyone is very nice and taking care of me every step of the way. Thank you to you all. Great customer service.

I can not say enough about Dr. Roberts and the staff at Gentle Touch. I have high anxiety going to the dentist, from the very first visit I was treated with care and compassion. Dr. Roberts explained everything that she was doing and took the time to listen to all my concerns. Dr. Roberts not only listens but goes over the pros and cons of my treatment. The staff and doctor made me feel relaxed and comfortable every step of the way, which created me to be calm and relaxed. I now know when I'm going to the dentist to not feel so much anxiety. I can not thank them all enough for the way I have been treated and how wonderful I feel about my smile. I tell everyone I know how wonderful everyone is and they should go see them.

Absolutely love this dentist and the staff. They worked with me on treatment plan that allowed me to get the work done that was severely needed and have been nothing but wonderful to work with. Dr. Roberts is so caring and so aware of making sure I was super comfortable and never felt any pain. Her work is phenomenal! Stevie is wonderful in helping get everything scheduled and even helped me to get in sooner when there were cancellations. The communication is outstanding and I wish I could give higher stars because they deserve it!

I cannot say enough nice things about this practice. Since I was young I've always had a hard time going to the dentist. The sounds, having someone's fingers in your mouth, not knowing what's going to happen next. Since becoming a patient with Gentle Touch, I can say I don't mind going to the dentist at all anymore. All of the processes are explained to you. They've treated me with a warm, patient, and professional demeanor all through out my care there. I will not take my teeth to be cared for anywhere else. From complementary chap stick, watcing netflix with headphones while you get your dental work done, warm blankets, a mini fridge of drinks, and the option for sedation, this place has everything anyone could hope for at a dental office. Every staff member I have encountered is truly so wonderful and provide the best care for your smile. I am so grateful to recieve my dental care at this practice!

I HIGHLY recommend Gentle Touch Family Dentist. The Administrative Assistants, Dental Hygentist, and Dentist, are professional and personable. They are not critical of the shape of your teeth or pushy in what they can offer. They take their time and listen to what you have to say. They make sure you know what needs to be done and what the cost will be before leaving. By far, this was the best dental experience I have had!

I have loved both my experience at Gentle Touch Family Dentistry and that of my sons'. The staff are super patient, friendly, and gentle with patients/ kids. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable. At my visit, I had Jensen, Crystal, and Dr. Szmigiel and all were wonderful! Stevie is also awesome! Highly recommend!

Dr. Szmigiel has been great the times I've been there. The entire staff is great and friendly. If you go here, you'll actually like going to the dentist! I mean where else can you watch Netflix while they work in your mouth?

A fall resulted in a broken jaw that totally compromised my bite. None of the teeth on the right side of my mouth even remotely touched one another, while the left side teeth “crashed” into one another. There was no way to restore my jaw to its original position, so Dr. Schmigel worked diligently to find a solution. With patience and skill she has me well on the way to restoring a reasonable bite so I can chew effectively and without pain. It’s a long process but I wouldn’t have anyone else for my dentist. She is caring, considerate, extremely knowledgeable and skillful. She always demonstrates sincere care for her patients and her staff is wonderful, too. Kudos to all of them- I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Absolutely the best health professionals you can have. Everyone is nice, experienced, and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the doors. Highly recommend.

*full disclosure, I am an employee* Before I worked here, I was a patient. This establishment has completely gotten me over my fear of the dentist. Both doctors and hygienists are amazing and make the atmosphere so comfortable. I feel completely at ease for any procedure and no longer have any hesitation. If you have any anxiety over dental work, this is the place you need to be.

Just moved to the ‘Burgh and established as a new patient here. Christina gave me the most comprehensive dental exam ever. I’m confident the care team of Christina, Jenson, and DDS Maria will care for me for decades to come.

I can’t give gentle dentistry enough praises! From the way they treated me, to how they explained in great detail what my options were.

I had several bad experiences with dentists not numbing me up properly in the past and pretty much having dental work done without novocaine! It was one of the worst experiences of my life! It kept me out of a dentist office for 5-6 years. However after knowing I deeply needed to see a dentist, I went online and looked up reviews. Gentle Dentistry had the best reviews!

I explained to them my past experience and worry and they went above and beyond to make sure my anxiety was under control and that I was very very numb.the dentist went above and beyond to save a few of my teeth that other dentists would have just pulled.

When I went in to my appointment I paid in full for the work they were about to do. Well, once the dentist started to work on me, she soon realized I was in need of more work than previously thought. She did this extra work and we went over what I had paid by an extra $4-500 and even though I would have gladly paid the extra amount, she didn’t charge me, she said to consider it a professional courtesy! Just wow!

On top of that, she saved both my teeth! I have lived in pain while eating cold food or drinks for many years, today just 24 hours after my appointment I have no pain while drinking an iced coffee! I can’t explain how happy that makes me.

If you’re like me and afraid of dentists or worried, don’t be! This dentist office goes above and beyond in so many ways!

P. S Did I mention while having the work done they gave me earphones and a personal screen above me to watch Netflix or YouTube videos while they worked on me! 5 Stars without a doubt!

I appreciate the staff very much! They make you feel welcomed every time you walk in for your appointment. Honestly they are like a second family! GO RED SOX!
