My mother picked Dr G. Fielding for a hiatal hernia surgery based on the recommendation of another NYU doctor. Today I regret so much that I didn't stop my mother and we didn't choose another doctor. My mother passed a month after the surgery due to Dr G. Fielding's malpractice and his incompetence. Do a research online and see how many malpractice cases this doctor has had against him.

This is the worst doctor ever. People die after his surgeries. Dr. Fielding has killed several people in Australia and in the US. First after his surgery you suffer in a hospital for several days as your condition gets worse and worse. During that suffering Dr. Fielding disappears and abandons you. And then you die slowly but surely because of mistakes that he made during the surgery. A member of my family passed away after Dr. Fielding's surgery. His license should be revoked. Don't ever go to this doctor! I would give zero stars in the rating, if there was such an option available.

Dr fielding is the best in the field. I found him to be honest and froth coming.he is an excellent surgeon - he is in a league of his own, there are great doctors and then there is George Fielding (worth the wait)

I met Dr Fielding a little over six years ago when I maxed my weight at 450 and I pretty much was killing myself with severe morbid obesity issues. He performed my surgery Jan 2015 when I was close to 410 pounds. I’m not going to lie and say it was an easy breezy journey because I developed many underlying issues after the gastric bypass, however this man saved my life and gave me purpose again. Not once in the six years that I know him did he not only personally returned all more calls immediately when I called but went over and beyond and checked up on me to this day even when I’m not scheduled to see him. He will and always be the most trustworthy, life saving and incredibly humane person that I ever met. To say that he saved my life on numerous occasions would be an understatement. He gave me a life for the first time in 44 years. To him and his entire team, I will be forever grateful and appreciative.

I would.like to thank Dr. Christina Ren'Fielding for taking good care of me tonight, she is the on call Doctor and went the extra mile.needed to make me comfortable.have nothing but great things to say about Dr Fielding, the only partially negative thing I could think of is his on call service. I had a Nurse Practioner call me back, told her I just had surgery and was having fever and pain and naseau and it had been several days since my bowels had moved. The Nurse Practitioners only medical advice was and I quote "Call back in 4 hours after you have taken your temperature " that's it! No take 2 tylenol, no use an ice pack, NOT EVEN GOTO THE ER!
