Germaine N Rowe, MD reviews
72 years ago I had some serious back pain that I couldn’t walk and today I’m still dealing with my pain. Dr Rowe I came to see and she took the time out to listen to me, explained everything and helped me out. She has been nothing but helpful to me, she’s very professional and sweet. I’ve had a problem with she always try helping with my pain. I want to thank you Dr Rowe for helping me and continue to help me with my back problems. I really appreciate it.
I have seen Dr. Rowe for the last year for pain in my Sacroiliac joint I suffered after a fall. She has a very abrupt approach and horrible bed side manner. After an Ablation, it was no help. She tells me sorry well there is nothing else we can do for you. She says "I don't mean to be cruel, but maybe losing some weight might help" OK thanks for that tidbit of advice doc! Needless to say I am still in pain and left this way! Do not waste your time with this Dr.and she always runs a half hour behind!
Dr Rowe is great she has been treating me for back pain with injections and I get great results don’t wait long in waiting room staff is busy but friendly like the Hylan Blvd office the best
I have been seeing dr rowe for over 2 years. During that time she has been indifferent to my pain and suffering. She is condescending and ignorant. I refuse to be treated this way! I demand a say in my treatment for pain! Do yourself a favor and refuse to be assigned Dr Germaine Rowe who works in the office at 1099 Targee St. This practice is part of the Orlin and Cohen group. Call Sally the patient advocate and get a new doctor. She was very helpful as was Michelle the administrator.
Another weekend spent in excruciating pain due to a doctor who just doesn't care. Pain management? What a joke.
I’ve been a patient for several years as my Insurance sent me to her… not knowing any better I had several injections from her…
I hadn’t seen her for a few years but just recently went to her in severe pain. After 2 injections I was in worse shape and her answer to me was “ I can’t help you go see a neurosurgeon. I finally found a caring doctor who said there are 15 different injections I could have gotten who sent me to a pain management doctor that has compassion and has concern for there patients. I had to leave a star for this uncaring cold doctor but doesn’t even deserve that
I believe that a person who becomes a doctor does so not just to become rich, but to help the patients that are under their care. A good doctor not only knows medicine, they should have compassion and generally care about the people they treat. This one has neither. I've been taking my mother for pain management for several years to see Dr Rowe to no avail. The last visit Dr. Rowe told us "there was nothing more that could be done" and that she recommended going to see a nero surgen. The nero surgen couldn't understand why a pain management doctor would recommend an 81 year old woman have surgery and informed us there are at least a dozen other treatments that could be done. There is a reason Dr. Rowe has only a 2 star rating. Be warned!
I saw Dr Rowe on October 23 2020 for knee injections. I explained i was moving so they needed to try to rush. Medical approved it on 11/13. I received call on to st up test for cd19.and 1st shot on 11/20. Cvs called on 11/17 said there was a problem with my medication and they were for doctor to contact them. I called that day and left message at doctor's office (no one picks up or calls back) finally received call on 11/20 i missed appointment. I explained they are waiting for medication. Finally I get phone call that they ordered it on 11/24 and for me to pick up and bring to doctor. Cvs did not have it. Doctor's office is very confused and do not care about their patients. They keep trying to schedule injection without medication. I guess they want there copay. If you go here GOOD LUCK YOU WILL NEED IT
