Very good place, the only thing though I would advise you is to come with a heavy wallet because the place is expensive as hell

Overrated and over priced. Staff was nice and ambiance was as well. But the food was mediocre at best. The lady behind us sent her food back it was so bad. The shrimp appetizer was incredible. About the only thing I can say positive.

Even though we moved out of the financial district in 2014, and moved to CT and then NJ, we always make it a point to come back into the city JUST to go to our favorite restaurant. They always welcome us like we are still locals and from the ambiance, to the service, to the apps, entrees and desserts, this place is top notch and will always hold a special place in our heart. It’s a must-do!

I came here for an amazing work dinner but was too full for dessert. Another table ordered this for dessert and I knew I had to come back. I sat at a he bar and had a great whiskey from their selection at the bar while waiting for my “dinner”. 7/5 stars for the service the night before and the impeccable service tonight. I’m stopping by here every time I’m in NYC.

I had a beautiful experience. The food was delicious and they had everything I wanted to order which was awesome.

We found this place by mistake and I was so glad we did. I had my teenage daughter and niece with me. The staff was so patient and helpful with all of us. The food was excellent and worth every penny as was my wine. The only regret is we were too full for dessert. We will go every year we are in NYC.

Definitely a spot worth visiting, the food is awesome and well prepared, the prices are convenient and it is always well kept in here. 5 stars.

Some of the nicest steak I've had in NYC in an upscale Italian restaurant with elegant vibes. Thr waitstaff were professional and made me feel like family. Would definitely go back!

Delicious homemade pasta, great variety of homemade sauces! Excelente host! Top of the line espresso!

The atmosphere and service were great. If your looking for a wonderful experience then this is the real deal. The food was good but I think it didn't live up to the rest of the experience. You will have an exquisite wine list and the bar too is well stocked. Should be a 4.5.

I did because the Pasta is expensive and was not what I expected for that price. The employees were polite and the place is nice, but it's not a the best place to try pasta. Thank you

I have been here many times with work colleagues it's usually a larger group and I love to order the fish special whether it's the sole or the branzino with a side of their freshly made pasta. Other people have had the steak, the lamb, clams, etc. It is all good. They have great wine, desserts and excellent service.

Ate here for a business lunch. The restaurant seems very up scale for a small place down town. Wait staff was quick, efficient, and stealthy. Never noticed A glass of water every being refilled.

To start, the meal began with bread and a small charcuterie plate. The bread was warm and pulled apart easily. The plate was a serving of soppressata, slightly fried green chili, and cubes of parmigiano-reggiano, paired with a sauce cup of oil soaked olives. The peppers provided a delicious kick for the rest of the meal.

T-Bone steak was ordered as the main course. Well cooked, juicy from tooth to fork. No additional seasoning was required. There's a suggestion of dry ageing in the flavor, and USDA prime beef in the texture. The quality of the steak took me off guard, as small restaurants out this much effort into steak unless it's the final point of the business (steak stand chop houses).

Guardino D'oro is a great place fo business lunches overall.
