Frank did an excellent job setting up my new laptop computer. He got all my files transferred, programs and printer installed exactly the way I wanted. He replied to my texts in a reasonable amount of time, and messages can be left on his voice mail. I'm glad I can rely on Frank to address my computer needs. He is very courteous and professional, and a Microsoft Certified IT technician. Highly recommend!

So very happy with Frank. I have been having issues transferring all my data from my old laptop that I destroyed after spilling a glass of wine on it! I couldn't load my mail accounts on to my new laptop.
I had reached out to Frank for his advice about buying a new laptop when the accident happened and he was more than happy to help and even found a replacement laptop online that he thought would be a good replacement. I went ahead and bought it. Great customer service!
I called him to check over the new laptop and load everything on her and to give her the once over.
He arrived on time and got to work straight away. He listened to my concerns and calmly went about making everything perfect!
I have a 2nd laptop that he also took a look to make sure all was functioning well.
On the same visit my husband brought his older laptop to Frank and he took a look at that and gave my husband suggestions about upgrading vs.updating the hard drive.
I can't speak highly enough about Frank's professionalism, patience and computer knowledge. I will confidently recommend him to my friends.

Had an issue with a new board i was setting up for Christmas and requested a quote. Response was incredibly fast, and he was able to come out the next day and fix my issue. Great service! Highly Recommended.

I've used Frank on two different occasions, each time for laptop repair, and he fixed the issues & had the laptops back up & running like new. I am grateful to have found him on Thumbtack! Our laptops battery was no longer holding a charge so we went to the big box store where we purchased it. Not only was it going to be pricey but they would need it up to three weeks-unacceptable. I reached out to GimmiBYTE and the communication was fantastic. We got a quote, turnaround time, and when his schedule was lighter so that he would have it only a brief time. The price was great, the job was done quickly, and now a month later, we are happy to have our laptop working properly again and that we were able to support a local business.

At first I was skeptical, about this Business and tried contacting a more well known technical support business dubbed geeksqaud. However, after finding out that they charge up to $200 for walking through the door, with the addition of other cost to come I was quick to look elsewhere. I hadn’t even received an email back from the well rated company (upon posting this review I still haven’t received anything) so I looked elsewhere. I needed my issue to be fixed fast, and at a reasonable price. I was lucky enough to stumble upon GimmiBYTE, I had sent an email with the expectation that I would have to wait for at least two days before hearing anything. Shockingly I received a response within a few hours and was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness. I was able to schedule an appointment, and have my issue solved in under 24 hours without spending anywhere near as much as I would have with other local tech companies. The process was pleasant and quick and the price was fair. If you live in Port Saint Lucie or are close to it, this is a company worth considering for your computer and technical needs.

The tech showed up precisely at the agreed upon appointment time, asked questions, assessed what was needed, and performed the required tasks in a timely manner. Mr. Gimmi is very professional, polite, and attentive to customer needs. I would recommend him and use him again myself.

I was at the end of my rope trying to block notifications from a site where I'd read ONE article. Frank *quickly* spotted the security area I'd missed and was able to direct me there with clear instructions. Bing! Problem solved.in a couple of minutes! All via private messages and screen shots. Frank came to my home to set up my new laptop computer and wireless printer. He was also able to transfer all my photos, music, email and files over to my new laptop which I greatly appreciate. He even showed me how to scan with my new printer. Frank was courteous, patient, professional and prompt. He is COVID-19 compliant as well and wore a mask during the entire visit. Needless to say I highly recommend Frank at Gimmibyte. Thanks Frank, you are certainly my GO TO computer guy!

I have known Frank for a few years through Facebook. Around a year ago, he helped me update my mother's Macbook with current anti-virus software (she was hospitalized and I was staying at her place, using her Mac). He has also helped me trouble-shoot some PC problems that I was struggling with and unable to figure out (and I am no slouch, I have advanced certification on MSWORD, and MSEXCELL) I really appreciate his assistance. Came out with a few hours notice and fixed my work computer that had the blue screen of death. Had it fixed within 1 day and saved all of my data! Highly recommended!

Frank was quick to respond to me. Was able to fit me in quickly. When he started I was unable to print, open most sites, correct documents etc.he didn’t give up and now things are working very well. He always explained what he was doing in words I could understand.

Frank was very responsive when I called him. He came over the next day, checked out the problem with the laptop and gave me a very reasonable price and time frame. He called me two days sooner than he promised telling me the computer was fixed and he could come over at my convenience. Great price and excellent service! Thank you Frank.

Frank is wonderful! He arrived on time and got right to work setting up my new computer. He was able to get all my files and email transferred over from my old computer to my new computer and installed my printer. My new computer has the new Windows 10 loaded on it so he stayed to show me how to use it so I was comfortable and able to use on my own. Quick response on my white screen issue. Couldn't repair, unfortunately, and have to go outside source to retieve the data on hard drive. No charge if fix not possible, so a major plus to make an attempt to fix desirable.
