Restaurant Gleason's reviews
17We got 3 -12inch pizzas and 2 dinners. I got there early and pizzas were warm at best and it cost $110. Find a better option
I've been going here for the past four years, and I see it as one of the town staples. The highlights have to be the cocktails. They have great bartender who have mastered the craft of drink making, so whatever you get will be great. Great selection of food as well, from personal pizzas to the apps, it's great Italian fare. A high light is the frequent events that happen during the week from live performances, trivia, and Kareoke. It's a great way to get out and find something to get you out of the house and to meet friendly faces.
We go to Gleason's almost every week. The atmosphere is very nice. Cocktails are especially good. Coconut shrimp, meatballs, and potato soup are our favorites. The pesto pizza was delicious. The staff is great. Look forward to some of the former entrees reappearing on the menu (lasagna).
Friendly bartenders, excellent eggplant park wedge, love the welcoming decor, and a creative seasonal cocktail list. Not sure what to get? Always good recommendations from the staff.
Great food. Great service, went the night before Halloween, prior to a show at the paramount, needless to say, it was packed. Despite this, the server handled everything, the food came out in a timely manner, the pizza was to die for!
Carolyn is the best! She always knows just what I should order even when I don't myself.
️ The worst Customer Service experience ever! We walked in at 10: 34PM confirming with the security that pizza will be available (Keep in mind that we only went there for the pizza.) Upon ordering immediately with the bartender, we waited about 30 min for our order. It never showed up! So we asked the bartender what’s going on. To our ultimate surprise, the bartender who claimed to be the manager ultimately, was quite rude and kept interrupting us trying to shut us down. She rudely interrupted our conversation between us and our friend and started yelling at us for addressing our situation Eventually, she said we were done for the night and closed our tab because we were talking to our friends and told them what happened to our orders. As one of the new property owner in this town, I felt extremely violated. We felt our tone of our skin (brown l) played a major part in the bartenders behavior. We don’t play race cards but that’s the only conclusion we could’ve possibly came up with for the bartenders behavior! ️ We couldn’t believe how we was treated in this place. The worst! We are extremely disappointed.
A surprise for us, very loud, because very popular, live music that night, so much fun. Drinks are awesome and fun. Food is delicious. Wait staff tag teaming, always checking in on you. We will be back. An unexpected date night.
Stopped by for a quick bite after traveling home on the train at Peekskill.
They were having trivia night, which was kinda fun to listen to.
Food was just ok, as you can tell my pizza was a little toasty on the edge.not the kind i was looking for, or like.
Service was ok, but nothing great.
Overall it was ok, but not for me.
The food here is so good. The service has always been exceptionally polite and friendly. I love their pizzas and share plates. Fun and relaxed vibe and decorations inside.
Cool place with live music. Interesting cocktails, but wouldn't order an old fashioned (was made incorrectly). Staff is extremely friendly. Would recommend if visiting Peekskill.
Cute and cozy outpost from the owners of Birdsall house. We enjoyed flavorful and strong cocktails, a fresh and tasty salad and a few appetizers, all great. I look forward to trying the pizza and entrees next time.
I've been here a handful of times. While a little pricey for casual takeout, this is a great place to bring family friends to celebrate a birthday or job promotion. Their wings are really tasty, and I've never had a bad pizza from them. Service has always been very friendly and efficient.
I'll never forget my first time, when I asked our waitress for her favorite build-your-own pizza, and she recommended a pizza with goat cheese, arugula, leeks, and shrimp. I loved it so much that I've recreated it at home many times since.
I was in town from Atlanta and we tried Gleason's out since my son wanted pizza while we were up this way. The service was spectacular and on point. Pizza was decent overall, but it was sold to us as smaller "personal sized" dishes. We ordered per person from this advice and had an unnecessarily large tab with leftovers we couldn't bring on the transit home.
Love this place. Fabulous drinks, delicious pizzas (including goat cheese for the lactose intolerant crowd AND a gluten free option!), and the absolute best bartenders and waitstaff this side of the Hudson.
LOUD! Didn’t get the order right.
Expensive for what you get.
Wanted to clear the table when we were still eating.
I would not recommend Gleason’s.
