Glen Arden Inc reviews
5My grandmother was placed here for rehab. We could never get a consistent answer about her care. All that I know is that my grandmother was coherent upon entry and was administered an unnecessary amount of Xanax and Benadryl that I believe was used as a chemical restraint. My grandma was transferred to the hospital and even the ambulance crew made a comment about this facility that was not favorable. I will be reporting more specifics to the state.
You have to question if the high reviews were paid or by staff members themselves? I can count just 3 people who were great staff there that truely cared. The others not much to talk about. The disconnect between the charge nurse who I will not mention and the other staff was so bad their occupational therapist quit after being there 3 months. The place is clean and I did not see a ton of neglect when i was there but when it takes 25 minutes for staff to come and help the resident to the bathroom that is a disgrace. I can’t imagine how many residents are sitting in their own waste waiting to get cleaned up. I have seen a room where the resident was sent to the hospital and food and other things were sitting exactly where they were left days or week before. Only comfort I take is knowing the staff who don’t really care will be old one day and I hope they are taken care of the same way they have here
Stay away from this place. My mom was there for 3 years. I was not impressed with the overall care/attention. Things go downhill from there. They were given 400K when my mom entered. 90% was to be returned 1 year after her death. The funds were misappropriated. When it came time for them to return the money we were told, by an outside "negotiator" they were nearly bankrupt. We got back pennies on the dollar. There goes the grandchildren inheritance. They had no remorse. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Needs more research.was there for a second presentation.very well done.place had a happy feel
