Reconsidering in keeping my 2 kids in this hospital to be seeing. It’s a nightmare to call these people. Or they never get the phone or they answer it and talk to yo and then they put you on hold and you just got to wait there until they want to get the phone again.

If I could leave no stars I would. I brought my son here this past Monday in the morning for what I thought was issues with his asthma since he had been diagnosed with cough variant asthma in April and his cough was awful monday. He was throwing up from coughing, couldn’t eat and could hardly breathe. When I brought him in we got right in. It was great to not have to wait. However my son was given a steroid, and a duo neb treatment then discharged meanwhile he was still coughing bad and saying his chest hurt. No swabs were done no X-rays nothing. Later that night my son seemed to get worse so I drove the 45 minutes back there with him, waited almost 3 hours in the waiting room, finally got called back was placed in THE HALLWAY. Didn’t see a nurse or doctor about another hour. Doctor finally comes over and asks ME what we should do like I’m a doctor or something. Says we can do an X-ray and another breathing treatment and go from there. I ask for a specialist to come see my son and he tells me there’s none available which I later found out from the pediatric pulmonologist that that was not true. Anyways we go down for the X-ray, come back do a treatment and we’re instantly discharged. I asked about X-ray results and doctor says “I’ll call when the results are read” at this point its 430 am both my son & I were tired and I knew we were seeing the pediatrician in the morning so I proceeded with the discharge papers we were given and we left. Again no swabs we’re done no nothing. Thankfully my son is okay and was able to get in with the pulmonologist asap. But it’s awful how this hospital “treated” my son. Won’t ever be back. I will drive the hour and a half to Buffalo.

The hospital is well equipped to handle all of your children's needs but they need to work on their scheduling.my son needed an mri, they rescheduled us twice because they overbooked themselves.and then at our appointment we waited 2 hours instead of the one hour to get our son into the mri room. Not ideal when you're dealing with a 4 month old. They tried to soften the blow with vouchers to the cafe and gift shop which was nice but my time would have been nicer.

I can't get anyone to answer the phone at Radiology. I was on hold yesterday for an hour and again today for an hour and a half and counting. This is absolutely ridiculous. We have a serious health situation and I am getting no help or response from these people.

Came here with broken vertebrae.
Wait time to be treated was over 1.5 hours. I was treated well, examined thoroughly by both humans and technology, and given excellent, proper care during my 14-hour overnight stay.
Building is loud, crowded, well-lit, smells slightly unpleasant in some parts, and is pretty clean. Bathrooms are relatively clean, too.
Doctors here take their job seriously and are quite thorough. Nurses are quick to help, good at what they do, and usually very kind.

The staff there are all incredible. I wouldn't settle for anyone else. Their facilities are top-notch too, and they are very accommodating to most personal situations.

Haven’t been here even a hour & I don’t like it
My kid was crying for 20 minutes & no one came by
The nurse that changed her dropped her dirty diaper/wipes & glove on the floor instead of the trash can next to her

I took my baby there yesterday with croup. The doctors and nurses were so kind, thorough and compassionate. It was so crowded last night but they were still attentive. Also there was a very sweet male student doctor who was so good with my baby girl. I’m grateful to have such good doctors and nurses in Rochester!

Don’t bring your child here… they will screw you and your child over. They have no ethic’s nor morals they only care about their own pockets.
You’ve been warned

Things have changed in the medical community and healthcare since my son was in Strong PICU soon after birth in December of 1982. My son's Doctor was Fred Horner since passed away. I remember him fondly. I see a lot of accolades referencing his medical acumen but to me, if I live to be 100, never will I forget his greatest attributes of kindness, empathy, gentlemanly consideration. If ever there was a role model for today's younger doctors on how to behave, he would be it.

Top notch NICU staff. Annie is awesome! Hopefully, this vaccine mandate will be lifted and we can get all of the nurses and hospital staff back to work who wished not to be FORCED to receive a vaccine that has not formally passed and/or gone through FDA traditional trials-except for EUA standards which is the same thing as handing out candy without a label that may or may not be harmful. I am glad that both of my daughters were born here BEFORE some of the best nurses were forced to resign or get fired. Thank you for all you do! Shame on your hospital system for not fighting back against this unconstitutional mandate that has cost your staff their livelihoods.

Please do not send a loved one to the child and adolescent program for eating disorders. Please seek up to date evidence based treatment elsewhere. Their program is out of date and has not changed much in 16 years. I would recommend leaving the Rochester area all together then have a loved one seen here. Do not let this program squander your loved one's recovery. They made my eating disorder worse and I was on my own when I relapsed as an adult. This has had life long consequences. This program did alot of harm and I am still suffering from the affects of the trauma it caused to this day.

I tried for 2 years to get my son some help. I was finally called and he was given a appointment. We had an awesome doctor, Dr. Viki Katsetos. However she moved on and we were sent to the new building at 1860 South Ave. Rachel Nadbrzuch was my sons new doctor. Today was a disaster from her not knowing how many times she had already seen my son, to asking him about the wrong medications, his age, grade, school district. SERIOUSLY? Did she not review her notes before calling us back. She rushed us, went as far as telling us 3 different times how many minutes were left in our appointment. I felt extremely rushed. She then put my son on medication WITH NO INPUT from me, did not ask my OPINION, THOUGHTS, NOTHING! I was told if I didn't agree, like it that I could get a second opinion, however she proceeded to tell me that it is extremely busy there and could take a while. I tried reaching out to Dr. Michael Scharf on Facebook today, but the message did not go through. I am trying to help my son. This is The United States of America, how can this lady tell me that this is her decision and if I don't like it go elsewhere? How can my child possibly go without medication, but yet if I don't give him what she wants, he has to wait til whenever to see someone else. Rachel Nadbrzuch was very wrong and unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint. My son is my life and he needs help and I am trying everything and anything to help him. Then the biggest kicker was she put him on a medication that had the exact same side effects as the last medication. She also knew my sons school start date, told her on our last visit. Why did she wait 1 day before school started to put him on a new medication? She commented herself today that she can see he is having difficulties, but yet she rushed us and medicated my son with no input from me. If I don't like it, get a second opinion but that could take a while. So what options was I given today as a parent?

Me and my friends went to seabreeze on sunday, long story short by the end of the night on of my friend had fainted and had a severe concussion.us 5 teenagers did everything we could to get him help.we arrived to the hospital and all employees were extremely rude.instead of listening to what happened and how he fainted, they immediately assumed we were lying and that the friend took some sort of substance, and instead of handling the situation by treating us with respect, and realizing we’re just kids seeing that we are all nervous and concerned about our friend, they instead were staring us down waiting for some sort of sign of a lie, and put our friend through multiple tests to confirm their theory’s.i understand their concern, and how that could be a possibility, but these people did not help any of us out.we were an hour and a half away from home with no parents…. And they gave us no information, wouldn’t listen to what happen when they fainted, and listened to nothing we had to say to help our friend.they went off of what they assumed and treated us with no respect.

We have ended up taking 2 of our children here. The older one has had 3 heart surgeries while we lived in another state. Her doctor had been with us since her birth and passed away the month we moved. The children's hospital is amazing! Everyone was so nice and considerate. They did everything possible to put my daughter at ease. We could not have asked for a better place to have to adapt to. All the employees that we had contact with, go above and beyond any expectations we could of had.
