Not be the best option for short curly hair. I have a short curly modern mullet.

Brushed out my curls and added too much tension when cutting. Ended up with a slightly uneven cut. Barber also got my lineup very uneven, thankfully I noticed before leaving the shop.

First time coming here, definitely will be back.gave me an awesome cut while making me feel welcomed and supported

I came here for the first time, and I highly recommend it David is a great barber so down to earth, chill guy. He treat my son and I like a king. The music is very nice and soft you can literally have a conversation with others.

Good Fellas Barber Shop is closed on Saturdays and I made the mistake of going to another barber for what I thought would be a simple cut. Never again! These guys - David, Abe, and Denny - are all the best in the Bronx … and some of the very best in the whole city! They are soooooo worth waiting for until they are open! I have come to them with requests for everything from a pompadour or a shape up, to a crew cut, to several steps in between. And I always come out feeling heard and being proud of the look we achieved! And all this for such a reasonable price! Check out this unretouched photo by Sean Turi Photo Studio that was taken two weeks after one of my most recent cuts! It looked even better fresh off the barber chair! It’s a no-brainer! They are the go-to guys in my ‘hood! Give them one try and they’ll be yours, too!

Have had very good haircuts from here… just wondering if you guys texture hair, if so how much does it cost?

I used my previous barber for 17 years. Had to travel to him. Twice a month for 17 years. Then i walked into goodfellas on eastchester road. 4 blocks from my home. Best cut ive ever had! Been going there twice a month for the last 3 months. David who owns the shop is a total pro. Kid has skills. I recommend this shop 100 percent.

When I was ready to cut my hair I am so glad this barber shop was recommended to me. I had to cut my hair due to severe hair loss from being sick, and I was so nervous and scared of committing to a dramatic cut but from the second I walked in I was made to feel comfortable. I showed my barber what I wanted and he more than exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was amazing and I was so excited when I saw the finished result 10/10 I would highly recommend.

My first time at the shop, got my fade done by David, I’ve been looking for a new barber, David hooked me up, left shop really happy with my cut.

I enjoyed the customer service. The place is clean, and the music is never over the top loud. You can speak to the barber without yelling. David worked with me, and I left with a haircut that I was very comfortable with. Especially for my first time there. I'm sure once he gets used to me, he'll be a perfect barber for me. I'll be back for sure.

I normally don't write reviews but had to write one for this place after having such an amazing experience! My son was in desperate need for a haircut and we happened to stumble upon this place (and I'm so glad we did!). My son likes to throw tantrums when getting a haircut, and although that's how the experience started, it ended quite pleasantly. David managed to calm my son down by giving him a lollipop and having a conversation with him. Yes, you read that correctly, David took the time to have a conversation with my 6 year old son while cutting his hair. He managed to get my son to laugh the entire time!

Now for the haircut itself: I had an idea of what I wanted for my son but David recommended a different style, and I'm glad he did! My son looks like a little gentleman and is cuter than ever! Such a positive experience at Good Fellas Barber Shop! Thank you, David!

Been to a few barber shops in the Bronx and yet to find one like these guys. David is my barber in there and he’s the best I’ve been to so far anywhere in the Bronx, anyone looking for a great quality haircut, you won’t be disappointed here

When David is not available. I have no problem going to Abe, Denny or AL. All barbers are experienced and very polite and professional.
