I got my PPL here, and I rent from here quite often as well. I couldn't be any happier with the experience I have had. Doug is a great guy with a real passion for flying, and it shows.
He is upfront and straightforward when it comes to anything business related, and he genuinely wants the students at his school to be good, safe pilots; he is not just looking to churn out numbers or pad lesson fees. When there has been unexpected maintenance required on planes that I have reserved, he has always let me know as soon as he knew so that I could make alternative plans. I really wasn't expecting that level of service, but that's exactly how Doug is.
A lot of businesses like to say that their clients are like family. I don't think Doug says that (he definitely hasn't to me), but he really does treat his clients the way that I would hope we'd all treat our family.
Doug and his crew installed a BRS system on my C-172. We decided to do the interior over at the same time since the plane would be apart for the chute. Doug and his crew were great advisors throughout the process. Helped me make difficult decisions and then worked very quickly once everything was in. The finished product was great. Doug also did my annual at the same time. His work is great, his quote was fair and end product was a beautiful "new" 1971 Skyhawk. Highly recommend.
