Thrift Store Goodwill reviews
12What a fantastic place. I really enjoy going in and looking at all the housewares, or finding a new piece of clothing. Do you craft, great place for crafting ideas! You never know what gem will be found. Please don't throw away things that can be used by others, give it to Goodwill and recycle it. I have found some fantastic clothes, housewares and furniture at Goodwill. If you haven't been, give it a try, I think you may be pleasantly surprised.
Always a treasure hunt. Never know what you'll find. Thought I found a great sport coat, but it turned out to be too long. Was very pleased to learn that you are now offing a first responder discount every day. Thank you for that recognition. It is greatly appreciated.
A Shoppers dream. Walk in and do a little bit of Fun Searching and find unique treasures. The Goodwill in Webster NY is helping your shopping experience by adding new items as you shop. Everthing from Flat Screen TVs and Vinyl Records to housewares and clothing. You might notice some furniture items have stickers with dates on them. It seems this reminds the associates when it is time to rotate a paticular item with something different and more appealing to the Shopper. Enjoy your experience and feel free to ask an associate for help if there is a particular item you are looking for.
Great values to be found and had, if you visit frequently, exercise a keen eye, and set limits for yourself. Happy hunting!
Place appeared to be well picked over. Though prices a bit higher at Savers, selection was better and they have a return for credit policy on clothes. No returns, all sales final at Goodwill. Plus Savers offers a senior discount on Tuesdays.
The items here are slow moving. It might be related to having higher than expected prices on donated items. The store is clean and well-organized. Prices and lack of new items are the biggest weakness here.
Constantly changing inventory as everything they sell is donated. It is very neatly set up, definitely worth a visit. Customer service was great also
This goodwill is so organized and clean. First time here, I was looking for outfits for work and I found exactly what I was looking for. Lauren K was so friendly and helpful, she deserves a raise.
Management is very rude! I wanted a DVD and it didnt have a price tag, mind you ALL the dvds are the same price and they refused to sell it to me and the jerk of a manager rudely dismissed me. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Good people, good shopping, good deals, goodwill. We always donate our gently used items to this good cause.
Wonderful and not judgemental. Especially when you're donating many items, from a hoarding situation.
Im giving Goodwill a little better rating of 3 stars because i was taught to round up although my intention was to place it right in the mediocre middle.let me explain that when i first shopped at Goodwill it as a humble thrift store placed to help those most in need instead of vintage seeking bourgeious hipsters & flea market traders.of course there was a chance 50% off color marked items depending on the day-big deal if u shopped at a fortuitous date -you could actually feel that community cared through the amount &type of donations bc it was a second hand store wagarage sale vibe heres an example Christmas 04 i found two mountain bikes still complete in their crushed boxes donated from Target- each was $20 after i lucked out w the pink tuesday rebate all i had to do as take them home and carefully assemble them add a big bow place next to tree- smiles.i visited Goodwill last Halloween ithought I made a mistake and was in a retail establishment- nearly everything as nearly priced what you might expect from going to Target or Wal Mart therefor making for a different less ofa bargain thrift more of a regular store sale experience.im sure there are still a few tarnished bronze lamps in need of a polish to be found among the piles of donations the new generation of merchandise appraised by ppl apparently w too much enthusiasm for the value of items or it pains me to think it is an intentional ploy that bypasses the vision & practice of the original creators.
