Goodwill NYNJ Store & Donation Center reviews
10If you take your time to search the racks, it does offer some really good finds with name brand clothing.
Supposed to be open until 4pm. Arrived at 3 and was told they has reached their capacity and to come back tomorrow.when salvation army was around they were open until 5.never closed early.
My daughter fines jeans in good condition and fairly priced. However, their tablewear, frames, vases, plates, glasses, bowls, figurines, etc.are very overpriced as if they were new and in a department store.
Goodwill is really starting to think it’s tjmax with these outrageous prices. At least there you know it’s new. Every once in awhile something is priced fair but other than that seems like you’ll have to wait until these items get sent to the bins before there thrown away be able to afford them. Very sad for us that can’t afford much.
This store has suddenly gone to hell. Over priced junk.
A couple of employees are awesome though, but pretty sure ill be visiting very rarely
Nice stuff cloths house ware items NO Furniture. The RE-STORE Homes For Habitat in Wappingers has ALL the furniture and house building items you may need
.
Goodwill was Nice great customer service
COVID-19 required a change in merchandise available. No longer offering furniture and didn't see any shoes. I was looking for estate jewelry but that is no longer available. I did purchase three short sleeve pullover Polo shirts at an excellent price.
Goodwill is becoming a little ridiculous. Their stuff is expensive and for things that look like junk. I saw a small tin can, the size is bigger than a quarter, that would not open and was dented for $1.99. Used shirts $5.99? They have one color they promote marks items half off but I'm sure they clear or change most price stickers Monday morning so they don't lose profits. Went this past Saturday 5/7/22 and the store is empty. I'm curious if they are going to be closing the location. I wouldn't be surprised with their high prices and nothing decent found. Get it together Goodwill. You are out of control.
There is no Good Will at this Goodwill in Poughkeepsie. The woman at the Donation area on May 29th was extraordinarily rude and unhelpful. She seemed to hate her job - I saw her throwing things around in the back area - and she certainly wasn't interested in any form of pleasant interaction with the public on whom GW relies for donations to fund their activities. I will take my donation to the Dutchess County SPCA and I advise others to the same.
I shopped Goodwill Store on May 16,2022. The older gentlemen who rang up customers was so kind and considerate of each customer and their questions. He took his time to explain a price to a person who did not spseak english. I admire is genuine kindness towards people.
