The average Goodwill executive compensation is $232,402 a year. The median estimated compensation for executives at Goodwill including base salary and bonus is $238,583, or $114 per hour. At Goodwill, the most compensated executive makes $652,000, annually, and the lowest compensated makes $50,000. Less than one-eighth of the company's profit goes toward its charity work. Goodwill sells free goods at a profit, but less than one eighth of that profit actually goes to the job-related programs they market as their primary pillar of charity work.
Hey Goodwill Boss, I’ve been going here since the doors first opened, buying bags and rounding up my change to support the Veterans every time you ask. Just yesterday 9/21/ 2023 I cancelled a battery operated clock at your register because I asked if I could bring it back if it didn’t work and your staff said only electrical items. So, I asked if they had a battery so that I may test it and they said no! First of all Sir your staff made no effort to even check to see if the clock worked because you put it out on the floor to get paid for something that may not work and I couldn’t even bring it back for a refund. Who does business like this! Zero stars if I wasn’t forced to give you 1 star! I don’t carry batteries in my purse! Sir. Nor should I have to. Can you imagine yourself doing that.
I’m asking you to make an effort to test battery operated merchandise! Or else you’re just a scammer taking advantage of your valued customers hard worked dollars.
Mean lady wouldn't let me borrow a simple wrench to take off the legs of a table I bought. I finally got it in my car after struggling for 45 minutes. Not very nice people, not a very nice community store. Definitely often overcharge and look at locals as a problem, versus someone to help. I hope another thrift store opens up in the Falls very soon!
Huge clothing selection but everything else (toys, home, kitchen, etc) is tossed all over in the back corner and quite unorganized. Would only recommend for the clothing but it’s sorted into very broad categories so you really gotta sort through. Decent prices for a thrift.
Incredible finds for good prices! Staff were hardworking. Customers were smoking in store, which wasn’t pleasant. But the deals were so good, still deserving of 5 stars!
There employees let you fill a cart for 20 bucks and walk out but my friend gets the cops called on her when she picks through their trash that will end up in a landfill somewhere making extra work for garbage man. It's GARBAGE! Karen takes her job a little to serious you need a life but keep making that 20 bucks letting people walk out with whatever they want
