Gotham Thrift Shop, Queens NY

I love going to this thrift store. I come by here every time I walk around Myrtle Avenue. I like looking at the CDs and DVDs.

Not a large selection of clothes and most of it was tacky decor. There were some hidden gems and interesting things I don’t usually see in thrift stores like comics. I found it very weird though that they were selling old photographs that seemed private (like of families) some were $8. I wouldn’t come here again

The gentleman working at the register was super accommodating & friendly & helpful!

I wanted to purchase something that was in a box but half of the product was tucked inside so I couldn’t see… The person who worked there helped me open the box so I could see the whole thing before purchasing…!?

Plus they have a lot of cute dishware & trinkets. Overall a really great experience: D

Clothes are relatively cheap, other than that items are a bit too expensive for a thrift store regardless they have a lot of nice furniture and items and it might be worth the money for some

Still has nice selection and variety with very reasonable prices. Old records and comics for a dollar. Plates and glasses for around 5.
Also had some nice looking full furniture pieces, but I can't comment on their price.

I'll definitely revisit this place.

Agree with the other recent review that the cashier lady is pretty unpleasant. I’ve bought so much from this store and continue to even though I moved away but don’t think I’ll be returning. There are kinder businesses with better products and prices

Edit: they say they don’t bargain but that’s not true. Every time I’ve been I’ve bargained and have even been offered “just give whatever cash you have for this item” So if things have changed then just say that, but don’t lie lol…

Cashier lady has a terrible attitude, very rude and disrespectful. Nice place but the lady makes it terrible to want to buy anything.

I like coming here to check out all the antique items and fascinating sculptures. There's also a large selection of trading cards, which could be nice if you're into them. But whenever I come in, there's always a faint smell of dust and cigarettes.

I always come to Gotham 2-3x a month, always a new selection. I follow them on Instagram as well for updates on new stock.

Nothing particularly wrong. Just feels like a gentrified store with high prices for regular items.

Love this store. Just to either look around or to see what they have especially if I am looking for something. Very unqiue stuff just love it

Spent a very pleasant hour browsing and shopping at The Gotham Thrift Shop today. I found many interesting items- vintage hats, doll accessories and comic books. All at great prices. I will certainly be back to shop again and recommend this shop for an eclectic experience!

Workers are nice and welcoming. There is so many unique pieces lingering around the shop! The prices are quite reasonable! I go there every other day and I always walk out with something:)

A little expensive sometimes but I always find what I’m looking for, the staff is nice and they play good music:) There is a bit of everything! They have a huge records collection, some books, clothings; lots of cookware / plates / glassware and also some toys. Great spot.

Nice thrift shop! Lots of choices to go through. Some things are a tad bit expensive. But lots of collectors, pins, and clothing! A must go to if your around the area.

An absolute treasure in the neighborhood! So many incredible hidden gems.furniture, jewelry, clothes.like a fantasy garage sale. And everyone is so nice! High-five especially to Emily and the owner who were super helpful!
