GRAN ELÉCTRICA reviews
18So my girlfriend's tacos were pretty good. However, are you? Where is that ceviche recipe from because that is not it maybe it's a part of Mexico that I don't know But not it. THAT IS NOT CEVICHE.nice place tho.
Gran Electrica is one of my favorite restaurants— you cant go wrong. Great food, great drinks, great service, fun vibe.
But why was the esquite taken off the menu? It’s so good: (
The food is obviously prepared with high quality ingredients, excellent recipes. This time around, I enjoyed a truly delicious chiles rellenos, a favorite of mine and a "litmus test". Unlike most, the melted cheese filling stayed soft and delicious and the poblano, all surrounded by a perfect salsa, was firm and delicious. My wife ordered tacos al pastor, made with heritage pork, which she promptly devoured happily. We shared an accompaniment of esquites, perfectly seasoned. An exceptional collection of tequilas and mezcals, attractively priced, prompted me to enjoy an exceptional Del Maguey pachuga. Excellent ambiance and outdoor seating in the garden as well.
My wife and I had an excellent dinner here! Patio was really cute and heated. The refried beans were the best we’ve ever had. Service was great.
A little expensive but definitely fire. I really enjoyed it. They serve pibil, which is always an indicator of a good Mexican spot.
Tacos are sooo bland and overpriced, the fish one smelled bad and my son refused to eat them and on top of that they tried to hustle us with the “complimentary” $18 chips and salsa there are too many superb taco spots in the city and this is not one of them
Had a great brunch out in the garden at the back. The Michelada was delicious and I really enjoyed our food - pork & pineapple tacos, chicken quesadilla and some sharers. Our waitress was lovely and really helpful with dietary requirements.
This place was super cute! This michelada was bar far one of the best I have had! The spice was spicy, like, really spicy and the flavor was just so good! Go there and have a michelada if you’re into them. We didn’t eat but the food looked tasty. The bartender was nice and quick!
The sangria pitcher was so watered-down. The food was average. Definitely not worth the price. Would have given 1 star but our server was very nice so giving 2 stars.
The ambiance is nice and the food is okay. Prices are good. What really stood out for me though was the service. All the wait staff was super pleasant!
This restaurant is located near the Brooklyn bridge. Nice ambience inside. But it was quite dark inside the restaurant at night, so it was actually a bit difficult for us to see how dishes looked like when they came out. Everything we ordered - tacos, mole, churro’s - were good, but didn’t wow us. We recommend this place if you are in the area.
The food and service was awful. Queso was extremely oily and burnt.
The rice had zero flavor. Will never return
Delicious food and a beautiful garden minutes away from the water, you can't go wrong.
We came in during a happy hour. Great atmosphere and decor. Margs were delicious and unique. Lee was our bartender and he was friendly, fun, and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and Lee!
Service was okay. Took quite a while for our food to come. The dishes were all very mediocre but the sauce for one of them was absolutely terrible, my partner and I couldn’t finish it.
Amazing place, ambience galore, very friendly staff. Gets busy so book or be prepared to wait. Fish tacos were lovely and fresh. Going back, hopefully many times.
I had the carnitas (tacos) and although they were small, I think the avocado sauce/guacamole made it taste very delicious.
