Their business is dealing with death. With that comes the increased responsibility of providing exceptional customer service, to both the deceased and living.
Unfortunately, my family has had to call upon the services of this institution 4 times this year.
Each time we visited, the price had increased exponentially. With no consideration given towards our series of unfortunate events.

The attitude was unprofessional during our last funeral (1st, 2nd and 3rd as well).
It was hurried and there was no sense of great empathy or care. My grandmother's makeup was caked on, with foundation smathered in her eyelashes. Just horrible. Slapped together and rushed! She didn't even resemble herself.
I honestly hope that my family views our last experience as the final straw.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The gentleman at the front desk did not say anything to us (two individuals under 30 who just lost their mother) except “put a mask on”. He was so cold to us. When the funeral director finally came (Ms. Agusto) was not very nice either. There was no greeting, no offer of condolences, barely a hello. This isn’t what is needed when a family is grieving and planning to bury their mother. She expected us to know what the space looked like, and then directed us to the website in a rude tone, but attempted to laugh it off once she realized there were no pictures on the website. If you are looking for compassion and decorum, I would stay away from this establishment.

This is my 2nd time using Granby’s services. The first time in 1998, I had no idea how to proceed and they were very compassionate and professional and took great care of us. I have used them recently for my father's services and once again we were impressed and comforted by their level of care, understanding, concern and professionalism given. Highly recommended. Funeral Director Mr. Keith Smith provided us with superlative service and we are greatly appreciative.

Yes. It's true the receptionist is extremely rude. The men are nice, respectful etc. The women however are another story. Terrible to take the customers for granted.

They took care of my Mother's homegoing and made the painful experience as smoothe as possible. The staff was accommodating and my Mom's looked better than I expected, i was shocked!

Greetings to all who read this post. There come a time in life where our death will mark our path of history as human being. When it come to seeing your love one suffered through pain! Wheel leather from death a a Gun shot, knife stabbing or dealing with stage 4 cancer and so more more trauma death or nature causes! Granby's Funeral Service, Inc Is the place to Go! I lost my brother 7 days ago to stage 4 cancer and the way he look I didn’t recognize him, my family when to Granby’s Funeral Service where their work was outstanding. I thought my brother was sleeping like how I normally see him sleep when he was well and alive…. These people are amazing and soul touching people who keeps God first in all they do and very loving. With Great honor I am thankful and on behalf of my family we are very thankful for your service.

Never too late to share a great experience. The passing of my mother in July was hard, but Granby’s funeral Service made my experience graceful and peaceful. The staff greeted us with love & empathy and truly worked with us each step of the way. I am new to death, so I was extremely grateful to have people there to help me and not rip me off. They made clever suggestions and even gave some advice on the details. You can access everything through Granby (such as flowers, burial, etc…) They have strong connections within their community and each merchant respected the work they do. They kept my mother in great condition, and dressed her beautifully for her service. They did everything right! The compassion and patience is priceless. I’ll recommend 100%. #InheavenJackie️

My family and I had the opportunity to use this funeral service to address our needs. There were slight hiccups in the beginning but, in the end, we were extremely satisfied with the quality service rendered by Mr Kevin Smith and staff. I know our mom was very pleased with the caring way she was handled.

So as you know having to have a service for your loved one is hard. Do this for my husband who was only 48 was the most horrific thing that I ever had to do. My husband passed away in Pennsylvania two hours away And as soon as I signed the the paperwork Ms. Varis was on the phone with her colleague to pick my husband up. Going through this was very trying and the professionalism and customer service we receive through everything was nothing but immaculate from Granb’s. We had a lot of ups and downs and they guided us rite through. And to put the icing on the cake I have never been to a funeral that you’re love one doesn’t look like themselves. They had my husband looking 15 years younger he looked so so soooooo very good he looked like he was just resting with a slight smile on his face. So in short FROM MY EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY GO WITH GRANB’S That are so freaking awesome

Overall great customer service! Big shout out to Vivian the funeral director that was able to make it easy for me and my family to arrange my mother's home going service! Mr. Smith and the front desk staff were however very rude and lacked empathy in regards to my grieving family! The telephone etiquette was below my standards! Mr. Smith was very shady in regards to me and my aunt viewing my mother's body before the funeral after dropping off my mother's outfit for the viewing and funeral service! Me and my aunt asked if we can view my mother's body and was told "No! ' by Mr. Smith and once we paid down the rest of the balance. Mr. Smith comes back into the office and says to me " You can see your mother now! " How shady can this man be! My family has been patronizing Granby's Funeral Service, INC for the a very long time! Overall they did a great job on my mother! Making her look very presentable and beautiful just like i remembered her! Thank You once again Vivian Hippolite for your professionalism and service!

I recently planned my dads funeral here and it was amazing. The staff was very professional, courteous and kind. My dad looked really good and they made a tough experience better. I would highly recommend Granby's to anyone planning a funeral. Mr Smith, Mr Covington and Mr. Swinton are amazing.
